While you might think it's embarrassing to come quickly, it's usually not that big of a deal. Most "healthy" young men average about 3-10 minutes, depending on how much they're really trying to come. Getting yourself to come within that range is fairly easy (if you're a quick shooter): you just have to train yourself, not get too excited, etc.
The opposite -- going for too long -- is just bad business all around. Whereas coming quickly could potentially be a sign of being *too* into a girl (which, sure, has some downsides), not coming at all means there's something wrong with you and/or your perception of the girl you're fucking.
