>hard drive starts making loud whirring noises
oh fuck what do I do? how do I make it stop??? HELP
Hard drive starts making loud whirring noises
That's what you get for not using a solid state drive.
Magnets. It slows down whirring and makes it click into place
back it up before it shits out you idiot
my OS drive is an SSD
I don't think I have magnets. I have fridge magnets if that's the same thing?
stick some magnets on that bitch, it amplifies the signal so it doesnt have to spin as fast
fridge magnets are completely different, try taking apart a speaker you dont use anymore, they all have powerful magnets in them
Those are a bit weak it wont be powerful enough to slow it down
op you need magnets from both sides
You gotta clean the platters, open the drive up and give the reflective disk thing a little spit polish
DON'T DO THIS
Speakers have a specialized gas in them to make them work, it's toxic and you'll release it if you take the speaker apart.
Why do you have a second drive reserved for your OS?
if he had speakers from ww2 then maybe, new ones are fine
just dont breathe the gas in?
it makes your skin melt. don't even try it silly
guys I really DO NOT thinkg magnets helped
the clicking got even worse so I rebooted and now my image folder looks really fucked up and takes forever to load - PIC RELATED
i can't fit all my music and movies on an SSD and they don't sell multiple TB SSDs at a cheap price
why are you trying to stop op from fixing his hdd
nice bait, shithead, this stuff is 100% safe
kek mine does that often, a good punch to the desk fixes it
WAHT DID YOU MAKE ME DO IF I LOST ALL MY FUCKING TOREENTS IM GONNA GET BANNED FROM PRIVATE TRAKCERS
try posting more pepes, it might help.
Are you sure you used magnets. This always works. I'm IT technician I do this all the time. Try again using circular motion
i think op is just baiting guys, and we wasted time trying to help him
you have to cast protection spell before you use magnets idiot.
Update OP, did you fix it
My 360 used to sound like a lawnmower for a while but it went away. Then the same sort of thing started happening with my laptop when I play Starcraft II. I think I'm gonna have to switch to Chess because first of all the Starcraft II community is going down hill and second of all I don't want to risk damaging my computer...but it goes away each time I hibernate it so maybe I'll just keep playing.
