any robots here live in major cities in your country where social interaction is constantly required? Im wondering if they can be either good or places for robots.
I have to move to a big city soon from a small town so i thought i would try to improve my social skills more while im there. Also theres a FUCK ton more people that I could possibly meet if i dont manage to fuck it all up.
well, in my opinion social interaction in big cities is not required. everyday you pass people that you're never going to meet again. in conclusion people give less shit about you, because there is so many of them compared to a small town. get me?
Angel Thompson
there are so many people in big cities that everyone simply tones out those who aren't in their immediate circle of friends and family. You won't get shown the common courtesy you're used to in small towns because that person being a dick to you will never have to see you again
Lincoln Adams
This. The big city is, ironically, lonelier, especially if you're an awkward asocial robot to begin with.
Luis Ramirez
I live in Toronto but am a NEET so I don't talk to anyone or go outside. Used to have a retail job, still barely said or did anything.
James Brown
the issue is that the big city has higher rent and housing costs. so it's harder to afford being a neet other than that it's much better. way more food options that're accessible without a car, and the public transit is actually good.
Daniel Howard
it's ok you don't have to lie just admit you live in north york or etobicoke or even hamilton lol neets don't live in "toronto"
Noah Morgan
On top of that they usually have nicer places to go to. Like museums, parks or pretty sights. Living in a small town you get "nature", but it's horrible unless you drive hours out but then again you can do the same in a city.
Brayden Scott
i can imagine being a neet in the country if you had a walking distance or otherwise easily accessible GOOD grocery store and also vast, accessible forest near you. weed connects can be easier or harder to find in the countryside, depending, too. otherwise it just seems like absolute shit compared to living in the city. being a neet and taking a special trip to that specific food place that's got the exact right value of cheap + delicious is great. in the city you have sooo many of those, especially asian foods. plus you can actually get proper ingredients from things like chinese grocery stores that make your cheap healthy neet meals like stirfry actually taste good instead of shitty with tons of substitutions. if you can get on autismbux a lot of those things like the museums are literally free, or at least half price.
Nathaniel Wright
Other robot, used to be a neet and lives in Toronto (Chinatown), I lived in pic related for a while because $300 which really didn't help with my mental health
i retract my previous statements, i suppose it's reasonable for a neet to live in toronto proper if it's in chinatown and their apartment literally can't have ANYONE stand up in it except maybe a midget
Mason Scott
>Canada so thoroughly cucked by the red dragon they're forced to live in bizarre sideways houses
Oh I am laffin wh*tenoids on suicide watch
Samuel Flores
Normal rooms are at like 600 to 700 but they're so shit they're still overpriced
Landon Nguyen
>rooms this is why I'm terrified to move. everything is so expensive. right now me + 1 other person (gf reeee) pay 800 for a 1 bedroom in a basement. some bonuses include being able to walk to the subway and having on-site laundry.
Mason Wood
You can live in finch station and get a better deal and still be close to downtown, or compromise and go to like eglington. Be in the downtown core South of blood will cost you a kidney to have your own place
Nicholas Turner
South of Bloor St I mean
Ryder Richardson
>from and live in London >comfy because londoners hate everyone and despise social interaction
Adrian Young
big cities are prime for robots, because no one fucking cares. The stereotype has it backwards: small towns are infested with backstabbing gossip, and cities are filled with people who will allow you to live your life how you want, because they're too busy making their own lives work.
Daniel Rivera
>major cities >social interaction is constantly required? pick one
i do not know if it was point of your question but typically the bigger the city the more detached people are
James Barnes
Why don't you come to Mumbai, India. I could benefit from your money.
Hudson Sullivan
Yeah but this means you can unironically be yourself since in big cities you're so anonymous
Brody Rivera
I live in a midsize (600k.) It's like being anonymous IRL. Bigger is better. >i would try to improve my social skills Do it. You can't practice making friends with the same assholes from highschool you already know and already hate. >tfw $1500 rent It's like I have to pay $50 every day I wake up. I hate this!
