they actually try to take the fish from me, but they do it in a sneaky way like they want to have a photo taken with it or they say they just want to hold it and then conveniently forget to hand it back before they try to run off with it
i also caught one of their kids trying to steal one out of my bucket one time so i slapped it out of his hand and took it back, then he ran to his father who looked over at me and i guess decided a shitty carp wasn't worth him getting boktossed
yeah, it happens a lot and it's only with asians, even the blacks have the courtesy to ask if they can have it first
today i had 3 different ones on the pier come up and try to take fish i was catching, one was just saying "i take i take" and i threw it back into the water instead

jesus christ. i mean, i believe it, i saw some gypsy kids in romania act the same way. as i was waiting for my bus they just came up and tried to pull my gloves out from my hands or pull my bag away from me. of course they were little kids so they couldn't, but just the openness of it. fucking weird freaks. and that's one thing the gypsies here don't do, thankfully. go up to random people and try to pull their belongings away from them
also these kids were probably 6 or 7 years old and i'm fairly sure they couldn't speak. they kept nodding and grunting and mumbling to each other and pointing at stuff. and they knew i was a foreigner so there was no point to try to not speak around me.

fairly sure it's only outgroups. they're quite ethnocentric, our gypsies. not that they form model communities amongst themselves. on one of the exits from sofia, the train passes right next to a gypsy neighbourhood. it's quite literally india there. piles of garbage, filth, rundown shanty-like houses.

there was a few gypsies in belgium too, they kept trying to sell tourists cheap shit they had probably stolen off street vendors, it seems like the exact same behaviour though and they slept in these big open-air mattress areas with loads of garbage scattered around

they didn't handle it well, that's for sure.
it's really easy to miss intel in this game so some thing will hit you out of the blue. or you'll find something out and then never have the option to challenge the character on it until a predetermined point in the story. there were things that shocked me even on my third playthrough.

I live in the westernmost part where the language starts mixing with czech language which has much harder pronunciation compared to the very soft pronunciation of pure slovak.
