Everyone calls you fem and not man enough

>everyone calls you fem and not man enough
>decide youre gonna become a soldier
>first day your god complex officer starts screaming for no reason (to show whos dominant)
>he yells at you for not making your bed properly
>maybe hes a neat guy
>you see him clean his ears with his fingers the very next moment
>you do 50 pushups
>train all day
>go to sleep
>wake up at 6 am
>do this all over again

Are you guys retarded? How can anyone join the army willingly, how does being screamed by some random retard for not making your bed properly is gonna help you become a man? How is that preparing you for war? For life in general?
I have heard countless stories about the army, and they all seem so autistic
Im not saying you should be dirty, but your bed not being made perfectly and you learning how to treat a random guy with respect is not helping you
Go to the gym, and a shooting range, its the two aspects of the army that are useful without listening to a guy that thinks he has authority while his daughter is probably sucking some guys dick at 15

What is the literal purpose of a soldier after WWII?
War today is just imperialists and oligarchs sending their buddys' armies out to bust the lining out of their already fattened pockets.
If there was any military action worth taking, we'd just use nukes.

>What is the literal purpose of a soldier after WWII?
Various jobs, maintaining equipment as needed, and in general just milking all the benefits
>free bedroom, food, gym membership, and not having to be around civilians who are pointlessly bitter and mean.
>If there was any military action worth taking, we'd just use nukes.
I remember when i was in the third grade lmao.

Lmao how is any of that hard though?

Also literally nobody cares about hospital corners on the bed after basic.

>muh Imperialism
Lmao the 1870s called they want your gripes back.

In other words, literally useless.
Trump is willing to use nukes, why aren't you?
>implying the Vietnam War wasn't an imperialist action of France
Kill yourself

>challenging
>fun
>get to kick doors in
>i can afford things now
Those are my reasons at least

is military boring? Could i do it as a permanent career if i liked it?

>Trump is willing to use nukes, why aren't you?
trump just shitposts on twitter, outside that he's just the president. If he actually did use a nuke i would be howling with laughter and very impressed but until then he's just some shitposter.

Have fun with whatever this is you are on about though.

its pretty hard to take orders from someone who is forcing his authority down your throat
not every officer is a war hero, most of them never did anything i would respect them for, they are all hypocrites too since they are just trying to recreate what their generals did
in general, im sick of boomers trying to act as if they are manly and have authority because they can perform basic human functions, most of them dont have authority over their slut of a daughter
you know whats masculine? outdoing everyone in something your passionate about

Not permanent, but if you can hold out for 20 years you can get off with a pretty sweet pension. Assuming you aren't bottom of the barrel.

My point is that there is not a legitimate need for a large military in the USA abroad, and anyone telling you otherwise should be shot dead.
If we brought them all home and put them on the border, that would be much more useful.

>trump
>imperialist
Shut the fuck up and back to r/latestagecapitalism you go.

Lel. Nukes are the opposite of imperialism, you retard. Quick, decisive action instead of a long, drawn out, decades-long conflict costing billions of your own dollars.

>implying the Vietnam War wasn't an imperialist action of France
Lmao the fucking french were already kicked out before American involvement. After the French got kicked out it was about containing communist expansion. If you want to see something that looks like imperialism in the 20th century look at the spread of communism.

Sure thing, kiddo. Don't forget to drop a pamphlet on the way out ya square.

>border memes
So have trump bring them back, hell nuke the border while you are at it! They can't bring criminal and drugs into our country if a massive radiation zone is acting as an invisible wall killing all who cross it.
of course anytime the wind decided to blow it would spread and kill anyone who got a gust full of dusty air.

No fucking shit retard. The full US military hasn't been needed at all since the Civil War. Military experts have concluded that the US is the only country which is impossible to invade. The thing is, there must be a strongest country. It's natural. The US keeps its massive military in order to boost its allies' powers and maintain dominance/stability. The US will use its military for small conflicts like the shit going on in Syria and Afghanistan, mainly for gaining control of spheres of influence and such. Nukes are the same way. A country builds nukes to tell people that they are not to be fucked with. Not because they will nuke another country.

Giant is sleepy.

He's right though. A huge reason why Central America is so fucked up today is because the US overthrew a lot of peaceful presidents because they didn't like their socialist models (european type socialism, with free markets) and installed puppet dictators who were very far right wing, corrupt, and killed off most of the civilian population.

>its pretty hard to take orders from someone who is forcing his authority down your throat
Not really. If they are giving you a lawful and not stupid order, follow it. If you can poke holes in it or know a better way to do it, voice it. Cant tell you how many times I have made officers and ncos look dumb because little Specialist me knew more then they did.

>not every officer is a war hero, most of them never did anything i would respect them for, they are all hypocrites too since they are just trying to recreate what their generals did
Of course not. Most haven't had the opportunity to do anything of note yet (a 2nd lieutenant is just as new as a private, everyone knows it, and typically are not treated much better lol). There are two types of respect in the military, that which is based on rank, and that which is based on the person. They are definitely not linked together or mutually exclusive.

>in general, im sick of boomers trying to act as if they are manly and have authority because they can perform basic human functions, most of them dont have authority over their slut of a daughter
Lol, maybe they shouldn't have fallen for the family meme.

>you know whats masculine? outdoing everyone in something your passionate about
I literally do that in the Army lmao.

damn, but still a pension! if i join i'll just have to find something to do after.

i just realized that the point of this thread was some old man was making fun of OP for not being manly or some stupid shit.
Keep doing what you want to do OP, if you aren't the pinnacle of masculinity who gives a shit at least you aint miserable.

>Latin America would be like Scandinavia if it wasn't for the evil capitalists
Socialists are so dumb. Our imperialism saved you cunts from becoming africa

>What is discipline

It's almost as if you don't want to get after it.

alright alright im going

There wasn't ever a purpose for U.S. soldiers after the Civil War
