I never understood why people couldn't just clean up their own neighborhoods. I follow IE on Twitter and their feed is full of their activists going to parks, buildings, etc and cleaning up graffiti and litter. It takes maybe a few hours out of their week and it makes a notable difference and requires little to no money.
