The UK is by far the most independent country in the EU, and except for Iceland every country within its immediate reach is a member of the EU, and members that have too much of their economies at stake to take stands unless an actual post-EU Europe is thoroughly planned. HS2 could help whenever the FUCK it gets built, but honestly the housing prices/rental space is fucking up growth in my area. While it's obvious that most of the highstreet is dying due to the rise of online shopping (helped by tax evasion) the price of real estate is overpriced and is killing growth in most of the UK. Whenever George Osborne made the claim that house prices would fall due to Brexit is the turning point for whenever most people I knew became solid brexiteers.

There's plenty of people who would love to create a small business or expand but despite the fact many places are empty the prices are still 25% above a reasonable rent, Brexit for me was a way to get onto the housing ladder and open up a shop. My local highstreet has seen 5/6 shops close this year alone solely due to rent being overpriced, I want Brexit to be a disaster to see real estate prices fall

Since A is the 4th biggest economy, B the 5th, C the 7th, and D the 9th this basically means they have a large monopoly of four of the ten most valued economies on earth. However since they have conflicting interest and ideas they consistently have disputes and one always feels pissed at the other three.
Country B decided it can't take anymore and leave despite the fact that most of their economy is reliant on the group they are in. So when they finally pack their shit and leave countries A, C, and D will probably do whatever they can to fuck country B. Meaning country B will lose its cheap access to A's cars and chemicals,C's food and manufactured goods, and D's whatever-the-fuck-Italy-does. They may still be able to get these things, but like everyone else they'll have to pay extra and will probably have to pay more in taxes as the group subsidies a lot of country B's stuff.
Now imagine that along with A, C, and D they have a string of other smaller countries. Meaning they'll pay extra for that stuff as well, and all those countries are the ones they're closer to. So country B basically pissed off everyone who they can easily trade with. There are other options, but they're literal oceans away.

Best option would have been to immediately declare EFTA/EEA Brexit, then to start preparations to leave in the long-term while maintaining friendly relations with the EU so as to continue trade. EEA/EFTA allow for negotiating independent trade deals, so the UK could do just that and prepare for long-term trade replacement, and eventually leave once everything was properly done, without much rushing or political meandering. However, the numpties in the hard part of the leave camp insist that the best way to Brexit is to launch straight into outer space, cut all ties with Europe (despite all the problems arising from leaving), do not use any gradual steps (because admittedly, the UK could stay in the EEA without a specified leaving date), abandon everything with E in its name (including Erasmus, Euratom, Eurovision and euphemisms), do not pay anything and unilaterally decree trade conditions with the EU (which is about as stupid as it sounds). It also doesn't solve the Northern Ireland issue, which is the equivalent of fining blood in the toilet. You know it can't last much longer, it hurts, but you just flush and hope it stops while thinking about other issues. The current government is also propping itself up on a supply and confidence deal (a fucking bribe) that cost it 1 billion with the leading right-wing nationalist party in Ulster, which is not helping the situation at all.

The issue should not have been put to a fucking binary referendum, but rather a general election manifesto. I am very much pro leaving, since there is no future in the EU, but this is just about the worst way to do anything (which is also the only way the conservatives know how to do things). This vote was just an attempt by the Tories to win back votes they lost to UKIP, and it backfired wonderfully. unfortunately, it didn't expose them for the party of frauds that they are like Iraq did with Labour, but maybe there's still hope.
