How can I document what happened here so I can later prove it was OK?
Yesterday my little cousin was being naughty, she was all sweaty. Two of the things she does not like are going to bed early and taking baths. So I figured as punishment I would make her take a bath and get scrubbed nice and good. I wrote words and arrows about what a bad girl she was all over her in black sharpie to rub off with a soapy wash cloth to teach her, then we would go right to bed and I would hold her to make sure she could not have fun and went to sleep. The bath took about two and a half hours, but I made absolutely sure to get her very very very clean. She was crying after a while but she was in trouble so I didn't mind, then we went right to bed with no jammies. When my family got home the next day and found out they told me never to do that again and to delete all the pics I took.
Absolutely nothing lewd happened but my mom says it looks bad. Can they tell me not to interact with my own family member this way if I did nothing wrong? I have a few other creative punishments I planned out, and I want to try them next week. What should I do?

Yes they can tell you to not interact with a member of your family. You are not the parent of the child so you have no say in the matter unless you believe some form of abuse is occurring in which case call child services. Otherwise this is straight forward, listen to the parents of the child and do as they say in regards to their kid.
