The no mixing attitude usually comes from fear that the children won't ' accepted. But black families doesn't really have a "skin color limit" before the baby to be seen as part of the family. You could be half anything and still identify as black. The community would take you in. Like for example with white/black couples the main worry is will the baby look "white enough" for the white side of the family to love it. The black side already will.
