yeah Ive gotten pretty cynical of shorter videos. I'll deal with it if the production value is worth it though (costumes, backgrounds, a script, good RP, etc)

Don't like any of the big 100K + subscriber ASMR girls, don't like male ones at all apart from this one black guy but he does very few uploads and has bad equipment, I like card reading videos like tarot even though I believe it is all bullshit, one I like a lot is latreceasamr something about her voice and breathing does it for me.

The patrician choice is unintentional ASMR, like:

TIL r9k is a board full of pleb tier ASMR listeners. Nobody mentioned AdiSensor or Neil Cooper. Disappointing.

Goodnight Moon is the shit- all her RP characters are so fun and interesting. I also gotta give it to Isabel Imagination- she did a personal attention RP themed to a Dutch nurse tending to a wounded soldier after Market Garden. She put some effort into it, and it's probably the most depressing, relaxing, and touching ASMR RPs I've ever watched.

Clear quality sound and no over-repetitiveness is a big plus. I do follow a few "thot" asmrtists but the sounds they make are good in their own respect. Probably half the asmr channels I follow are males, for they can't get popular with being slutty, so they tend to focus more on quality videos. Ephemeral Rift is who I can always rely on, and his videos are a lot varied (so no mic scratch/whisper/kissing sounds x1000).
To name a few others that I listened to a lot (few have stopped uploading): Air Light, Bill MaxVoxPax, Asmrsurge, asmr zeitgeist, Fredsvoice, Miss Asmr (2nd fav), SoftAnnaPL, SoulRepose and theASMRnerd for the comfy skyrim videos.
