eye am from minnesota which is cold i havent been to many states except 4 others
honestly i have never researched bulgaria but it looks really nice from the pictures (blame the us mentality i guess)

well, sounds like you can start with the mountains around you. just google "hikes around *your city*" and you'll probably come up with some nice hidden gems that are only an hour via train or bus away. just pack some sandwiches, nuts and a couple of bottles of water and you're set. it's how i found myself crossing a mountain pass on foot. it was gorgeous, even though it wasn't a major tourist spot. and minnesota is probably way bigger than bulgaria.

don't worry about that, you literally have no reason to look up bulgaria. it's just too distant and irrelevant for you. think i know anything about colorado or minnesota? hell no.
