mass migration off a coast because of flooding is going to be a clusterfuck

bumperareeno

The fact that so many burgerland politicians don't even believe in global warming is insane. When did this country go so wrong?

>EPA propaganda from 2009
"MUH GLOBAL WARMING!!1!" Lol fuck off shill.

if this is not bait im going to killmyself..

Will the USA annex Canada if this happens?

Seems like Trump's wall is a good investment after all. Imagine all the dirty, hungry, violent, and thirsty Mexicans running north after when shit hits the fan.

Canada's going to need one too, we don't want you fucking literal nutjobs shitting up our paradise.

>Who said I was American?

kind of want to say "eat shit" here
the normie world is hellish and it's only fitting that it be hot as hell

Made the assumption with the bigotry desu; you'd fit right in there.

Nuclear war is the only outcome.

Theyre aware of the problem. But oil companies pay them too make it look like not a problem.

>this absolute retard unironically calls people bigots

>r-word

Reported.

Its less bribery and more knowing their audience. In a GOP constituency telling voters that a.) scientists who are smarter than they are have determined that there's a big problem with the way the world is being run, and b.) that the proposed solutions to this all require them to have a lower standard of living through restrictions on energy use, well, that's a good way to get your ass summarily booted out of office. If one politician says those things anyway, he'll be replaced until they find one that doesn't.

This map seems distressingly retarded to me. A L L of that land, becoming desert? Not to mention he quite blatantly has the revised coastlines wrong in many places, according to literally every other projection like this that's ever been made.

Also, the dude who made this (Parag Khanna) isn't even a real-ass scientist, he's just some foreign relations advisor who moonlights at CNN.

>This map seems distressingly retarded to me. A L L of that land
Personal ridicule isn't an argument.

>Not to mention he quite blatantly has the revised coastlines wrong in many places, according to literally every other projection like this that's ever been made.
Eh the map has some geographical mistakes then and there, but it's main point is still correct like pic related.

>Also, the dude who made this (Parag Khanna) isn't even a real-ass scientist, he's just some foreign relations advisor who moonlights at CNN.

The predictions come from this come from climate models which have been right thus far.

>The predictions come from this come from climate model
The predictions of this map come from climate models*
Typo.

It's not just the temperature and sea level rise that is gonna be a problem. EVERY aspect of the environment is going to shit. Pic related.

Where I live was supposed to be under water a decade ago.

Too many people. It's that simple.

>Where I live was supposed to be under water a decade ago.
According to who? Don't lump people like Al Gore with actual scientists.

21st century will be a bloodbath massacre the likes of which has never been seen before.

>Too many people. It's that simple.
this desu. The industrial and medical revolution was a mistake

>The Neth*rlands will sink in to the sea
Good riddance to that degenerate, pothead, atheist, cucked shithole. God is punishing these blasphemous knaves.

>Lush, biodiverse Africa will become an uninhabitable desert due to climate change

What's the weather gonna be like in Europe in the late 21st century? Asking for a friend...or a billion of them.

>Eh the map has some geographical mistakes then and there, but it's main point is still correct like pic related.

It's not "here and there", the entire projected shape of the world's coastline looks at least as wrong as it does right. The result is akin to what one would expect if the creator has his map open in MS Paint and was going back and forth it and between a source image trying to color in its coasts with the pencil tool to make it look the same, and got so absorbed in a few areas that fucked up really basic shit like not having the Persian Gulf advance a millimeter.

If it's any consolation, the U.S. pentagon and core agencys won't be going anywhere for the next few thousand years. You'll see plenty of shifts in society and the legislative branch of the government, but there will always be a stable center to all of this. For better or for worse, they maintain absolute security of their existence and by extension the existence of a safe society that produces revenue for them.

Most of southern Europe won't be habitable either. The only regions that will be able to sustain human life are the ones farthest from the equator (Canada, Russia, Britian, Greenland, Scandinavia. etc...)

Also, the "main point" being correct is not good enough for an infographic. A map like this is either a well-researched and accurate creation, or it contains errors. In this case, it contains obvious ones. There's no middleground on something like this, it is reliable or it isn't, and when it isn't, it shouldn't be shared. OP could and should have used something that wasn't shit to drive home his point, the map is trash.

Even then, It still doesn't refute the point of the map. The majority of the earth won't be livable. The geographical mistakes doesn't discredit it.

There will not be a esert in southern europe unless the med dries up noob.

desert I mean

If that's the case, fine, share a map that's not blatantly full of errors to make the point. The argument appears immediately debased when you open with something like this.

Fair point I will give you that.

>fertilizer consumption
Ugh. Who's eating that shit?

Al Gore was overall shit but he did one thing very very well, publicizing climate change. Besides that, since this is so new of a phenomena it's hard to predict exactly what will happen. I mean we can predict things like temperatures and weather patters shifts, but the overall effect on the world is hard to pin down.

It's not that it was mistake, but we had no idea how to have any restraint, so a booming population got taken advantage of by Mr. Shekelburg. Yes goy, have babies who will buy my product, consumption is good.

That's not really true, especially for inland southern Europe (coasts will submerge anyway). Deserts form regardless of whether there are seas, or not. North Africa also has the Med and it's still mostly desert.

Greenland will rise and become an economic superpower.

Then I guess that's where the third's gonna have to migrate too.

The solution is simple, we just need to depopulate the third world (War, Famine, Planned Parenthood, Social Engineering, Biological Warfare, Eugenics, etc,).

>people forgetting the climate cycle
>forgetting it was as warm as this 40 years ago
>forgetting it was also really warm ~40 years before that
>forgetting it went really cold in between those warm periods
>not realising this is just another peak and that it will go back down soon, as the icecaps will reform
>not realising all these observations have only been made over the past 20 years, going from the middle of the cold cycle out to the current hot
Don't fall for it. We need to cut down on the plastic and dredge the waste out of the ocean, sure. We also need to improve our use of renewable energy tech. But we're not turning the world into Mad Max world.

Judge Dredd world is better, anyway.

Attached: 1406148047269.jpg (2036x942, 512K)

We just need to do this while the West still possess its technological and economic supremacy

Nuclear fusion can fix all of this right?

Attached: 1354383126518.png (529x327, 80K)

Well you obviously have no idea what you are talking about. North africa it is a desert for a reason. thre is something called the hadley cell which makes dry and hot air concentrate around +-30 latitude. Southern europe is not affected by this. It wont be a desert ever unless the med dries up.

Don't speak too soon, previous climate cycles were literally nothing in comparison to how much we're fucking up the planet now, Eurofags are already roasting and it's the grand solar minimum. It turns out pumping billions of pounds of C02 into the atmosphere isn't good for the planet.

when i talk about the environment, i talk about the trash, the giant trash pile that floats out in the ocean and how the endangered species lists expands and expands, along with the extinction list, with no end in sight.
"oh but animals will survive and live and evolve!!"

no, we're literally pushing them to the edges of regions and extincting them. the African ones are just being hunted to extinction.

climate change is fucking irrelevant compared to those.

Who cares. Only retards let a bunch of useless animals stand in the way of human progress.
Environmentalism is fundamentally anti-progress and misanthropic.

>not good for the planet

Why does everyone talk about "saving the planet"? Earth's doing fine, it doesn't give a fuck. We're only killing ourselves, and a bunch of other species which will be effortlessly replaced with new niche-fillers in a couple million years. This whole argument should be cast as mass human suicide-prevention, the planet is as safe as it's ever been.

ahemcoolstorybro.

Misplaced empathy is not productive.

>forgetting it was as warm as this 40 years ago
No it wasn't this warm 40 years ago, you disingenuous liar.

>not realising all these observations have only been made over the past 20 years, going from the middle of the cold cycle out to the current hot
Bullshit. There have been observations on the climate since 1880. Your just some shill trying to pull wool over a gullible motherfuckers eye.

Attached: 683px-Global_Temperature_Anomaly.svg.png (683x600, 58K)

rabble rabble rabble to you too, buddy!

Then why was this the "hottest summer since 1970-something"? It should have been the hottest summer since last year, last year being the hottest since the year before.
Besides, carbon dioxide is actually good for plants and will make the world greener rather than desert.

Man, I just want to live somewhere rural and cold. Why does the universe have to shit on my dreams at every opportunity?

All the problems will be solved if we can make the world 100% white.

>unihabitable desert
>Japan
wut

The Haley cell will expand with climate change you ignorant imbecile. Southern Europe will turn into desert regardless of whether the Med dries up, or not.

>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hadley_cell
>There is some evidence that the expansion of the Hadley cells is related to climate change.[4] The majority of Earth's arid regions are located in the areas beneath the descending part of the Hadley circulation at around 30 degrees latitude.[5] Those models show that the Hadley cell will expand with increased global mean temperature (perhaps by 2 degrees latitude over the 21st century [6]). This might lead to large changes in precipitation in the latitudes at the edge of the cells.[5] Scientists fear that global warming might bring changes to the ecosystems in the deep tropics and that the deserts will become drier and expand.[6] As the areas around 30 degrees latitude become drier, those inhabiting that region will see less rainfall than traditionally expected, which could cause difficulty with food supplies and livability.[7] There is strong evidence of paleoclimate climate change in central Africa's rain forest in c. 850 B.C.[8] Palynological (fossil pollen) evidence shows a drastic change in rain forest biome to that of open savannah as a consequence of wide-scale drying not connected necessarily to intermittent drought but perhaps to gradual warming. The hypothesis, that a decline in solar activity reduces the latitudinal extent of the Hadley Circulation and decreases mid-latitudinal monsoon intensity, is matched by data, showing increased dryness in central west Africa and increase in precipitation in temperate zones north. Meanwhile, mid-latitudinal storm tracks in the temperate zones increased and moved equatorward.[9]

Russia needs to stock up on more Nukes and electric fences.

do it senpai

>Then why was this the "hottest summer since 1970-something"?
This doesn't mean shit retard. Climate change is about patterns.

>carbon dioxide is actually good for plants and will make the world greener rather than desert.
No it won't, you lying retard.

>skepticalscience.com/co2-plant-food.htm

This map would be perfectly fine if shitskins didn't exist. They're all going to migrate to our lands and liberals will let them take over. Not hundreds of thousands of nogs like in 2018, but millions and billions of nogs. A brown tidal wave.

Whitey will be pushed into the desert and will eventually be living in vast self-sufficient technologically advanced cities and have to fight off hordes of spear-wielding niggers who have taken over the arable land and squandered it.

Where are you from?

Originaliano

It's just blacks. The entire Third World will have to move north.

>not good for the planet
Wrong, not good for us. The planet is doing fine, it got through much worse than "this".

>It's just blacks.
It's not just blacks*
Typo

imagine being a member of a doomsday cult

These anons are right. The Earth has went though way worse things so it's gonna be fine. It's human beings and the vast majority of living beings that ae screwed.

The great thing about science is that it's true whether you believe in it, or not.

Man I wonder how this all pans out if Gore doesnt get the election stolen from him and his climate change policies arent ridiculed

>skepticalscience.com

I can imagine this happening. Blacks swarm our land and push us north. We continue to survive but they just ruin the perfect land and try to chase us to keep leeching.
Africa would probably stabilise if we pushed them back there, pulled all aid and sealed it off. They would return to a sustainable population and go back to living like nomadic tribes, following the herds.
Would make for interesting tourism and scientific studies.

Not an argument retard.

Originaliano

The cycles of the Earth and of antiquity have been broken - never before has man had this level of power of his environment, and of his culture, and of the future - we have reach an unstoppable, exponential point in society and technology that each year will only bound us further down the path. Never before have we had weapons on such a global scale, never before have we communications, or transportation, on such a global scale. We are moving quickly and moving assuredly, and whether or not our destination will be the finality of man from stagnation, or nuclear war, or some other horrific demise, or somehow us making a complete 180 and saving ourselves, is unknown and honestly terrifying or liberating depending on how you look at it.

Attached: 1532475262806.jpg (705x527, 247K)

If Gore won in 2000 things probably wouldn't be as severe as they are now, but the republicans in office most likely would get on their collective hands and knees and suck off the oil industry more than ever to negate a lot of his policies. Gore probably wouldn't have done much in office.

the great purge is coming

Can anyone explain why niggers continue to pump out children while also whining about famine and begging for free gibs?

Attached: 1200px-Countriesbyfertilityrate.png (1200x616, 174K)

>If Gore won in 2000 things probably wouldn't be as severe as they are now
in all likeliness they would. I doubt gore could have instated any sweeping reforms that would have led to a massive fix of our emissions .

Meh, it's fine. They are dying off at the same rate that they are born.

Maybe it's related to our overconsumption of dairy?

Are you sure about that desu fampai?

Attached: Capture.jpg (926x358, 87K)

>populations who never figured out animal husbandry are lactose intolerant

Gee, really fires the neurons.

Lack of industrialization. It's not the only factor, but overall, there is no denying that industrialization = fewer children per woman, and first births later in womens' lives. There are plenty of other spots in the Third World that would have been more on the "red" end of the spectrum in that map forty years ago. Either the whole world eventually "blueshifts" (again, referring to the color-coding on that map), or the wave of global industrialization breaks. Africa in general is just behind most other places.

They aren't, you seriously just made that up now. You don't even believe that, or if you do, you're retarded even by Jow Forums standards.

Still not a problem. All we need to do is to tighten our borders and polish our rifles. How hard is it to keep a couple of low IQ shit skins out of America?

We need to cut off all condoms and hiv help for Africa, let it kill all of them off in 20 years, then populate it with whites. It's the only way.

>haha yeah the environment is entirely contained within our own borders, allowing the rest of the world to overpopulate uncontrolled totally won't affect us at all!

We have the technological and economic advantage. It is enough to serve as a buffer against "climate change".

>yep let's just let those shitholes do their thing, it's not like all that coal pollution from china is drifting across the pacific into our atmosphere right haha that would be crazy

>>yep let's just let those shitholes do their thing, it's not like all that coal pollution from china is drifting across the pacific into our atmosphere right haha that would be crazy

Dealing with China is not practical.

you accidentally put "third" in your sentence.

from another dead thread i saw in the catalogues, what do you guys think of this? would a purge actually save humanity?

Attached: 1532914933470.jpg (340x285, 11K)

Lmao this map is retarded hopium
By the time Antarctica becomes habitable methane release from permafrost and extended horrific extreme heat events will have wiped out most of the worlds cropland and therefore, all civil society.

Look at this that shows how no nation manages to improve social markets whilst not raping the earth. There is no way to fix this. All of the solutions I have seen will fail

Did you know that the last time CO2 was this high, the Pliocene, sea level was 20 metres higher?
Did you know that polluting aerosols from factories and such are causing dimming that removes 0.5-1 degree of warming? We are basically already past the first hurdle of 1.5 degrees, it is being masked by pollution.

This is almost unprecedented in the Phanerozoic (last 500 million years or so). Its almost Permian mass extinction tier, and there was no plastic during the Permian, and 40% of the non ice land wasn't covered in pesticides then. Its almost unbelievable how fucked we are. Its pathetic when people go vegan or stop flying or whatever, it will not work.

Attached: planetary boundaries.jpg (611x685, 51K)

>There is no way to fix this. All of the solutions I have seen will fail
pack it up guys, user has reviewed the data and determined that it can't be fixed, everyone can go home now and stop worrying about it

Yep I know. You should actually worry more though as I am a well known paranoid and mentally ill man
