I started HRT when I was 14, I was on puberty blockers since I was 12 though. If you're a young person, I suggest going to a psychiatrist to get evaluated and then to a doctor to work out your treatment. Doctors will take you more seriously if you have the backing of a mental health professional.
People say the best age is before puberty and that can vary in people so it depends on you.
