I feel ya
He's so dreamy >.

What the fuck was he?A chad?A cyborg?Something in between?

What is it about dexter that attracts fem*ids? He's a lab geek.

He was the kind of psychopath that could pull off the Chad like Patrick Bateman, but he chose to stay a bit more cyborg-like most of the time to keep a low profile.

I wish I had a bf as broken inside as I am.
I'm starting to think one doesn't really exist though.

>he chose to stay a bit more cyborg-like most of the time to keep a low profile
Yeah,no joke with this one,he went as far as dating a used up stacy then later even marrying her and raising her kids.He turned himself into a cuck only to feed his sadistic urges, this dude had some depth.

Does dexter come in mind when you say
>as broken inside as I am

This is now a dexter waifus thread.

Not even close.
He was too normal.

Be careful on the edge of those posts.

>see your mom chopped up with a chainsaw by drug dealers
>stay locked in a container filled with her blood for days
>all the people who get to truly see you end up getting killed (by you)
Why was dexter such a normie guise?

Kek,this what did you go through that was so rough pumpkin?

>dangerous, sadistic, manipulative psychopath serial killer who has a secret addiction to killing, torture, and mindgames
>>too normal
Okay buddy.

It's more depression than edge, currently.
A fair dose of loneliness thrown in there too.

meh she was ok i like hannah the best

He's a television character for one.
But the writers could have easily taken characteristics and personality traits from the case studies of actual serial killers, which there are many that are easily obtainable, but they clearly didn't and instead went full fictional when it could have been a more intricate and thought-provoking show.

Granted it was of its time and can't really be compared to similar shows like Hannibal (which did take characterics of an actual killer, Ed Gein) due to budget, etc, it could have been deeper and had more substance than it did.

Too bad her seasons sucked so much.It was funny how she was the complete opposite of rita in about everything.Yvonne was,is and will be a 10/10 aussie.

Dexter had enough depth,at least during the first 4 seasons. It explored dexter's thoughts in a pretty neat way tbqh.

See: Dexter could have been a better show than it was, the character and his situations could have been more realistic and based on how the thought processes of serial killers in real life work. It could have been really interesting, but instead the showrunners went the tv pop-fluff route.

Like I said, it would be unfair to compare Dexter to modern shows because of the changes that took place later in what was considered acceptable for television, but if you look at similar media, tv biographical movies about serial killers being a good example, the subject of "inside the mind of a serial killer" has been covered better elsewhere.

If you want a list of similar stuff that did it better, I'll give you my throwaway email.

How did doakes know about dexter?

I know, but all I'm saying is he was not "normal" by any stretch of the imagination. Pretty unrealistic portrayal of most serial killers? Yes. Was the character normal? No.
Just a good cop who can read people well.
What I always wondered is was Doakes being genuine with Dexter before he died. Do you guys think he really would've helped him if he turned him in or if Dexter turned himself in, or was he just saying it to get out?

Here's my email: thrownaway13 at protonmail dot com

See above if you're honestly really interested, it's not anything I talk about in public.

>he really would've helped him if he turned him in
Help him as in try to get him on the 'right' way?Or make sure the punishment wasn't too hars on him(like he could kek).Knowing those were Doakes' final moments everything that came from his mouth seemed pretty desperate,so I can imagine him being crowned hero of miami and then completely ignoring/forgetting about dexter.

Military training, and dex really had some spergy moments so it made doakes look more into his past(which wasn't easy to dig out so it made him even more persistent).Their final moments in that cabin were pretty kino.Wish there was more genuine dialogue between the 2.

Fuck off you larping faggot,I hit you up and still nothing.

Keep your panties on, it's in another tab and doesn't alert when I receive anything.
