Switch to melatonin, it's a lot better for you and has almost the same effects. The only difference is no morning fog, vivid as fuck dreams, and a bit less strong.

If you're talking about taking it for the delirium, then don't take it more than once a month, but it'll still do some significant damage for a day or two after. It'll induce slight psychosis if you take it bi-daily or more frequently, so don't take that unless you're trying to torture yourself for mental fortitude.

I've been taking them for YEARS to get to sleep and have abused it too. It's been about 7-8 years. At my peak I was taking around 11-12 a night. I've taken at the most 750 mg. Feel free to ask me anything I enjoy DPH threads and will be lurking until it 404s. I just took 150mg to get to sleep. I am going to try to wean myself off of it for melatonin because I have been having weird headaches and neck pains and I am not sure what is causing it.

I do not have psychosis and see shadow people but I have experienced stuff when I took with with weed and LSD. I will write up a greentext story about the time I was LSD and took 400mg.

I used to take this to help me sleep but I found that it actually lowered my sleep quality in the long run, I would start sleeping for like 10 hours but wake up drowsy as heck.

Now I've sworn off sleep-aid drugs and my sleep quality has improve immensely. There is nothing better than only getting 6 hours of sleep but having enough energy for the rest of the day. I could not do this with the sleep aids, I would advice people to just work out or find some other non-drug way to help them sleep.
