It really depends on the circumstances of the conversation and how far he went to show his scars. Unlike everyone here, I don't necessarily think he had ill intent. Yes, cheating is a possibility, but it's also possible he just wanted to vent and not bother you with his mental health issues, or he's just a social dodo bird who doesn't realize you shouldn't pull down your pants to internet people. However, I do think it may indicate some lack of trust in a relationship. Self harm scars are pretty serious and if it's something he'll share with another girl, and not you, there might be some lack of communication and understanding about related topics that pushed him away from seeking your attention. That, or he's a whore. Really hard to say.
