I have a theory as to why we haven't seen alien life yet, Jow Forums
Chance of us being the first ever sentient species is minuscule: the universe has had the potential for habitable planets for billions of years now- chances are, we're quite late to the party. The real question: is it possible for a species to even advance to the space age? We might not be the first species to ever argue about the value of human life, eugenics, technology and the consequences of their implementations. We might not be the first species to fail socialism. We might not be the first species to outright deny the advancement of society- in fear of the few that will not fit. You see it today in Europe and the United States, where any talk about eugenics will get your socially and politically ostracised not because of the "potential" effects to the genetically poor, but because of the assumed idea that a human life has its value based entirely on its genetic composition. The upper economic class detests such an idea, for a genetically superior- and thus conformist- society will subscribe to a more socialist ideology; the lower genetic classes hate it as well, as it explains their actions beyond any imaginary rationalisation they perform in their heads to justify theft, rape and murder ("fuck whitey", "allah ackbar", etc.)
The morbid truth: it's impossible for a socialist, empathetic society to survive in a globalist economy. Such a society will be abused by genetic underclasses from other countries and out of necessity, transform anew: an individualist, capitalist ideology will be the only kind that thrives. You notice less and less children playing outside, you start locking your doors out night, you notice complete family breakdown. All thanks to the new genetic underclass. But you won't blame them. You'll blame the police, you'll blame society itself, you'll blame the class divide. All tragic symptoms, but not the problem: the problem is the existence of these genetic underclasses.
Once the globalist takeover happens, society is lost; Its very ideology has already changed beyond repair, and it will grow worse and worse until its practically identical to its third world neighbours. The economic classes will continue to tear apart until there is complete government collapse. People from all classes will begin to question why they're working for a society that enables rapists, murderers and general subhumanity. They will grow more and more individualist, more and more capitalist, until there is no more empathy for the underclasses left. They will continue to refuse the problem until the government ceases to function in favour of private security, private transportation, private schools, private sewage, you get the idea. At this point, society as we know it has already broken down- there will be designated 'safe areas' from the genetic underclasses, perfectly walled off from the hell that goes on outside. With globalism, worldwide eugenics policies become essential to solve the growing class divides both genetic and economic. Otherwise, the result is apparent: one big South Africa with nothing left.
For aliens to be sentient, they must have evolved as social creatures; social creatures employ their own method of genetic selection. With the adoption of technology, their method of genetic selection must have grown outdated and useless. They didn't replace their method of genetic selection, and perished. It's going to happen to us too. Maybe the last humans will realise their mistake, and wonder too if other species made the same.

i didnt read all your post user but i like to believe that space travel just isnt possible, to travel the speed of light (which is theoretically impossible) it would still take you hundreds and thousands of years of traveling in the absolute vacuum of space basically the universe is so massive we will never meet anyone

I agree with the first part of your post but not the second. It probably is impossible to reach the space age but it is probably because Space travel is a monumentously hard and unprofitable task and is not really achievable between the cycles of societies rising and falling.

For space travel to be possible it likely requires large scale unity of people that allows the best minds to work together with the needed resources which is likely impossible in a world where a nuclear bomb is invented and spread. But a nuclear bomb will almost always be invented before space travel as on our planet.

Abandon all modern technology such as computers, cars, high-tech stuff, etc.. and go back to small tribes with basic agriculture where everyone contributes to a mass food storage and protect each other from outside harm and attacks, such as raiding, animal attacks, robbery, kidnapping, etc... from other tribes, and ensure that the tribe is genetically similar to you by interbreeding with them for generations so the tribe is unique to itself and only itself so that the tribesmen of that tribe make it safer for themselves and each other and reassure the success of their existence?
