you should get into anime start with something you've heard of that has interested you, there has to be at least one anime you've been interested in watching

Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop are both REALLY good starter anime too. I kinda recommend SC more for a first because less people have seen it and its such a perfectly self-contained story, but Bebop is the legend that it is for a good reason.

I mean anime isn't a genre and we shouldn't be acting like it is, but as an anime goes, made in abyss is unconventional
