Always thought some bars seemed lighter than others
i hope you weren't counting the bar
If you look on the ends of the bar it literally tells you how heavy it is
don't troll
>counting the plates
I actually have looked and I'm pretty sure I've only encountered a few bars that actually had their weight somewhere on the bar.
kek
It shouldn't really matter, the bar doesn't count either way
Fuck off, people who count the bar are inflating their numbers.
That’s why I don’t even use the bar. I just grab however many plates I need and stack them in each hand to press them. >pro tip
Can’t count what you don’t lift
i've only seen one bar that did this in 10 years
The lighter ones are usually thinner in the grip. That's how I tell, but 9/10 times I'm using an Ohio power bar
Every time before I workout, I take a bar and walk it downstairs to the change room and weigh it.
>Mfw I've actually grabbed the bar and stood on a scale because someone told me it was lighter.
>It wasn't.
>counting the air pressure
some bars have this but not many
at my gym there's only writing listing the weight capacity
to figure out the weight of the bar i just weigh myself at the scales once normally, and then once holding the bar
pretty simple
the only bar at my gym that weighs differently i suspected because it had a slightly thinner diameter. sure enough i weighed it and it was closer to 15kg not 20kg
My bar is 700lbs
Who cares if it's heavier it'll just make you stronger
>Not overheadpressing your own body and literally flying trough the room
Not making it.
i care if its lighter though
A good gym has only 20 kg bars (Olympic bar) for men, no compromise + female bar.
>chrome
Shite browser, use GNU icecat
not for the shitty generic bars at commercial gyms.
I've seen this only in one gym with certified oly bars.
>he usea the womens bar
If i as a man were to deadlift with the womens bar, would that substitute for trap bar deadlifts?
>tfw gyms bars are 55lb
>Absolutely 0 bend in a 455lb deadlift
>At least a couple mm thicker than regular barbell
Makes me look weak AF and deadlifting with a stiff, thick bar is goddamn tough
>libtard
