We should use only anonymous hosting sites for clip uploads because fuck being called a shill
Only a few people call us shills, they're just loud and adamant about it.
And you scoffed at me for using Vocaroo, Wintje.
Got a thrift store camera a year back and took some random shots. Some turned out nicely. Looking forward to seeing everybody else's work.
The grainy-like quality gives off a retro vibe desu

Mumkey Jones film festival. And if you'll indulge me, I talk about Better Call Saul S4E01 in this video:
I was gifted my grandpa's cameras from my sister for Christmas last year. I figured out that I can get a roll of 200 ISO 35mm into one of them (barely) and I took some test shots. I'm kind of thinking of trying to develop and scan it myself so that I don't have to go through the embarrassment of trying to explain that the photos are on the film to the points that I hand cranked them.
Monitored
This image keeps changing.
That's a super low ISO - hopefully you accounted for the darkness. From what I've heard it's much, much easier to develop black & white than colour. I'm sure you've researched this already though. If social interaction is the only thing holding you back, hopefully you can talk yourself into it. They do it for a living and have seen a million times worse. I dropped off my film at a store and opted to get it sent via e-mail so I never had to see them ever again.
[[NO LIFE]] [[NO DREAMS]]
doing it the right way takes like 16 tracks though
>lead vocals
>backup vocals left
>backup vocals right
>lead guitar
>rhythm guitar
>bass
>drums left
>drums right
>piano
>cowbell
and choice of more vocals, guitar, percussion, theremin, banjo, or harmonica.
but never the saxophone.
No life no dreams
Gosh I cant tell you how much the sound of saxophone makes me want to chew my arm off
Wintje is that you?
I am not saying anything
Its principal merit is the beautiful variety of its accent; deep and calm, passionate, dreamy, melancholic, like an echo of an echo... To my knowledge, no existing musical instrument possesses that curious sonority perched on the limit of silence.
the sax sounds amazing on its own, otherwise>
>elevator music
>tiny reeee
The reason that the saxophone does not have a better reputation is that there are no modern orchestral compositions with a saxophone section.
This has to be quality orchestral bait

New robot music
That was a decent performance.
Thanks for sharing it!
this was surprisingly aesthetic for a vocal melee
criticisms please my best lads
makes me want to drive in the city at midnight
>Not_bad.wav
I hallucinated a bunch of additional layers that made that into a ridiculous War or the Worlds style epic.
>potential
>about to record a song
>tuning guitar
>string snaps
I had that happen once tuning an Erhu
Did you shit your pants?
Why would I shit my pants?
Not good, but not bad. Feels like some budget background music for a ps1 game. High hats are kind of distracting.
>tune down
>string snaps
fucking guitar breaking the laws of physics
I just imagined it being very quiet when it happened for some reason i flinch when strings snap
Whenever a string breaks for me I'm more like "Are ya fucking kidding me?" than I am spooked
>tuning down a half step yesterday to play "heaven beside you" by AIC
>high e snaps
>broke af and too lazy to buy a new one
It was the high e string for me too lmao

I am truly terrible and nobody can stop me
This is really interesting, o robot of the r9k
do you need a laptop with good specs and high res screen to learn to do design shit with photoshop and other programs?
Gritty, i like it
I made this yesterday after one of the worst day's I've ever had, it's not great but damn it was therapeutic to just record this and put it out. I haven't done much production on it, and it is 12 minutes long and goes nowhere, so you can listen to something else or nothing at all, I don't mind
soundcloud.com
How are you looking to grow? I don't like trap sorry famalam, so I can't critique much, but you clearly know how to produce shit. You should experiment with different sounding vocals if anything. The autotune feels very 00's and reminds me of my childhood, but everything else is current year and I get a really weird nostalgic angst listening to heyoka (not a bad thing at all, just an observation I'm making).
Do you have any towns nearby that essentially look like they haven't left the 90s? I'd like to see some snaps of that town if so, there are a couple near me, idk if it's the same with you.
Mumkey had a lot of good stuff in it that reminded me of the shit I'd watch on youtube as a kid. I didn't know S4 of better call saul was out so I'm going to watch that episode after I'm done watching/hearing/seeing everything here. Probably won't watch your rambling thoughts on it though if I have to be perfectly honest, I don't really watch or read reviews/opinions in general, so don't feel offended.
I like this. Comforting and haunting at the same time.
>no trumpet
>no piano accordian
>no melodica
>no recorder
You could just be a lazy shit like me and do 3 or 4 tracks max per song and write it off as "folky".
No life no dreams
I can throw reverb on a muted trumpet and it sounds quite similar
ENOUGHISENOUGH
I can feel the emotion behind it, this is a good recording for a demo tape.
(comment too long, will continue)
(cont)Kekked, thanks. Where is that female vocal sample from?
The user saying the thing about the PS1 game is right but I kind of like that aesthetic.
The disjoint sounding strings are very unsettling but just close enough to work. This is really damn experimental, wintje.
Probably. It's good to be reminded that they're still making stuff.
cat. I like him (more of a her on closer inspection)
A very evil looking piece, keep doing what you love user.
I love the concept behind this piece, not terrible at all.
Feels like normie humour, sorry big fella.
Started getting into it towards the end.
Seems I got to this thread late, not to worry.
Some surreal photography
You're an actual saint user, thanks for replying to my post. Quite rare in these threads.

Keep up the good work, you sound like Jeff Mangum. I'm glad you liked my paintings
Don't worry about not listening to my BCS rambling thoughts user, I just find it very thoughtful of you to reply to everyone in the thread. The episode is quite good though in my opinion - a pensive start to the season, and a very fitting one considering the circumstances.
You're welcome, not sure who you were, but I like to make sure everything posted is listened to at least once. I hope I didn't miss anything. Replying to everything can get exhausting though, sometimes I don't have any opinions on things. I'd rather give my attention to other robots pursuing artistic endeavours, they deserve it.
>you sound like jeff mangum
If only I could write vivid and wild lyrics like he does. Thanks user

hey "kid" you seem to be doing great. i hope you see this im glad you remember.
dude I told you that you could use the last 6 tracks for whatever you want
as long as it is NEVER a saxophone
Of topic. Can I post a imgr link in a r9k post? If I change the "." To "Dot" ?
technically, it's circumvention of the spam filters which is against the r00ls
So I will get banned? Even if I do spaces?
Good morning, robots

Ok thx user

i love the intro

you're a drawfag Harry
"talker" is throwing me off. Is this meant to be a political statement about the futility of using violence? You're damn good regardless of the message you're sending
Thank you! no I don't have any interest in politics, when I get an idea I just draw it, regardless if people thinks it's slightly crude or offensive.
To me it's a humorous picture since the bullet just passes through her harmlessly.
"Talker" is a tribute to an album by U.S Maple.
I'm just a guy that draws stupid shit essentially

points to anyone that recognizes any of these characters
I did a quick and dirty cover of Fascination Street by The Cure. Or at least, a little bit of it. Mostly just working on refining my bass tone.
