you can always go for millet (was eating by gladiotors), buckwheat, chickpeas, lentils, quinoa, amaranth.
You can change nuts for sunflower seeds, they are cheaper and just as good.

Anyone willing to help a brother in need?
I lost 50 lbs since December thanks to some helpful guys here (cardio at a deficit and scoob's intermediate) and I'm 10 lbs short to reaching my goal weight but I'm not sure what to do next. Obviously putting more emphasis on lifting, but what program would you recommend? Should I bite the bullet and get a gym membership 30 mins away or can I make do with dumbbells, a barbell and a pull-up bar? My local gym is filled with foreigners and thots.

I had been training at home with dumbbells before I went to a gym, and my advice would be BUY a membership. Do more compounds, don't do weights you can't control, keep intensity high. Try different exercises to find ones that work best for you. Hire a pt to watch after your form. 99% you'll fuck something up.

That's some pretty good progress. Your arms are like toothpicks though. You'll probably eventually need to get a gym membership, but I'd work on the basics (pushups, pullups, dips) first.

Just out of curiosity, how many pull-ups can you do?

The gym in my town doesn't offer PTs, unfortunately. However, I used to go to the gym regularly before I started uni, so maybe I'll still remember most of the form when I get there.

Yeah, I've been noticing that, too and it drives me up the wall. I can do eight close-handed ones on bad days, ten on good ones. Dunno about the regular ones, my pull-up bar doesn't fit that well into my doorframe.
