Recommendations for a US healthcare plan around $100/month or less that doesn’t completely fuck me in catastrophic events?

Try going through your states plan for poor people. I had free healthcare for a year when I was unemployed and it was actually pretty decent. That's minnesota though

Cali cuck making 54k/year before taxes, is that even an option for me? Too poor to afford healthcare, not poor enough for free healthcare it seems

>Shartmericans are not able top get Basic Healthcare
>Muttmerica
>Not third world

Welcome to the eternal struggle. I had healthcare, $500+/mo for just me, absolute jack shit.

I’m self employed with no employees so I can’t get a company plan, so I’m stuck paying full price on the market, which is all absolute shit.

>paying for "healthcare plans"

top kek Amerifats

How is it that high!? I would never pay that. I saw entry level plans on Humana for like 120/month. No way in hell im paying over 200

I pay 400 a month for full health, dental, and vision. Pretty standard price desu. Some companies are better than others, but a few hundred a month is pretty average it seems

I'd try it. California is liberal and also has a pretty high cost of living so you might be surprised

Fuck man, I had it good on mommy’s plan. Never used it though really. Why dental?

>thinking $100 is a lot per month to pay for health care

I live in bongland & my MANDATORY national insurance comes to around 90 bong coins per month. And im earning less than 20k per year.

Thats around $116 dollars per month thats mandatory for me to pay by law.

Then when you factor in the abysmal service of the NHS it really is daylight robbery from the government.

For example, I once got refused for a doctors appointment for my back when i fucked it lifting something at work & told to just rest it over the phone despite paying my fucking national insurance.

My grandma is losing her vision & needs surgery to fix it & by the time the NHS has scheduled her surgery she'll be blind.

The general outdated & cramped state of public hospitals in the UK. Anybody who's actually spent more than an hour in one i'm sure will agree with me.

The general unmotivated state of NHS staff due to the low wages of nurses & admin staff, huge amounts of foriegn imported doctors in it for nothing more than the pay cheque, the fact that the NHS files are still paper based instead of digitally stored and the giant beauracratic nightmare the NHS has become.

The HUGE waiting times to be seen for anything and general attitude that if you want to be treated for anything less than a stab wound or brain injury then you're wasting the doctor's time and should be treated like a time-waster and shoved out of the door as soon as possible.

I would trade it for an extra 90 pounds per month to spend on either private healthcare or save in my bank in a heartbeat.

Why get dental? Because literally every old person who went through life without it regrets the decision. Oral health is no joke.

NHS

>laughs in european
feels good to be first world

>wants a good US healthcare plan for $100/month
LEL! What year do you think this is? 2005? You're going to have to spend $300/month MINIMUM for a decent individual plan.

Agreed, but dentists don’t do much for those who already take good care of their teeth. Dental cleaning is a scam, only things you should need a dentist for are cavities, root canals, etc. I’ve never had a cavity. My chad dentist even told me not to get a dental plan cause the cost to just pay for the procedures is comparable to the insurance premiums, and he said he’d work with me to get it done as cheaply as possible.

What qualifies as decent, saw plans on Humana ranging from 120-300+

Yeah? Get s Better job with better insurance

I don't have it, if something major goes wrong I'll just buy a gun for much cheaper

>covered till I'm 26 through military
>Tfw totally unprepared to live as an independent adult.
I have 2 years

Pull a John Q or an hero?

Here in the US, your coverage would end up being being free - or pretty close to it - because of your low wage.

That all depends on his age, really.

It's pretty cheap for young people, and gets progressively more expensive as you age

Just stay in the military until you retire or die like the rest of us sorry sods

Same here (netherlands) and you know the best part? anything done in a hospital, not your general practitioner means you have to pay the first 385€ of costs yourself. this mean that i HAVE to pay insurance and still cant afford to go to the hospital.

calicuck here too, make about the same
pay about $180 month for health through Kaiser, dental and vision included
what the fuck do you do?

I was 28 when I first had to buy my plan on the individual market. I can't remember if I have a gold or platinum plan with Kaiser, but essentially if I wanted $20 copays on most services/medicine, I had to fork out $300+/month

What do you mean what do I do? For work?

And that’s an alright price, I could live with that’s I guess

>Argentina provides "free" healthcare and education
>literally a third world shithole with destroyed economy + rampant corruption.

America also spends most money per capita on healthcare in the world.
American whites also has comparable health outcomes as western Europe.
America also subsidizes most of the worlds medical and drug research.

A real job.

I dig the cleaning. Feels good and my dental is a whopping 10$ a week so I go with it

Shit man, copy and paste this and buy an add on newspaper, keep posting every week. Piss some people start protesting

Get a one way bus ticket to Canada

Sorry user, healthcare is a human right. You're just going to have to keep putting up with that and if someday we are truly lucky we will have the same thing in America.

We actually have better healthcare for the most part. A lot of the statistics are misleading. We pay more, but getting better care.

Unfortunately, are system is pretty fucked up due to the government. Things would be a lot better+cheaper if we had anything resembling a free market.

i have medicaid. holy shit its absolute trash, but it's something

Can I work something out with ZOG where I can choose to pay rent one month, healthcare another month, cycle them on-off like that?

Fight for single payer and stop letting useless, greedy middlemen fuck you over for their bottom line

Thank God I moved to Canada, don't have to deal with that shit

Can't wait to have standardized VA tier healthcare in 56%land. That will be a new dawn for us bros. Imagine.

>We actually have better healthcare for the most part.

Americucks unironically believe this

Every doctor visit will be like going to the DMV, for life. That is a future we all can hope for.

There are short-term, major medical, health care plans for around $100 a month.

In october, due to Flumf, the maximum time you can have one until reneweal will be extended from 3 months to 12 months.

I'm thinking about getting one, since the cheapest ACA (Obamacare) compliant plan is $300 a month for a similar deductable (and no copay).

Do any of you have short-term plans and with what company? Do you like them?

you could literally just give veterans medicare, but your politicians dont actually give a shit about them.

you could literally just give everyone medicare, but your politicians dont actually give a shit about them.

kek, the state already fucked up our healthcare system, now you trust it to make it better by giving it more control?

I'll bet your an atheist. The average atheist's always channel their atheism toward believing in the magical fairy tale "state" that is all powerful and will fix all problems despite empirical evidence to the contrary,

Attached: Hoppe-retro.jpg (960x901, 113K)

We do, actually. We have the best hospitals and doctors in the world. They're just strictly for the rich

>no prescriptions
>no dental
>no optical
>no physio
>6 month wait for specialists
yeah canadian universal healthcare is great if you don't give a shit about preventative medicine since the only people who actually get treated are the ones in emergency. and then once you get out you're fucked for all the prescriptions you need to take.

Give me a wall, I'll give you medicare brah.

I've used healthcare in Germany, the Netherlands and here. My personal experience says otherwise.

Plus, my dad goes to the Mayo clinic every 1-2 months. How many of you people on single payer go to one of the best clinic's in the world multiple times a year at a reasonable rate?

Oh, you don't.

Attached: 1465427974141.jpg (400x400, 38K)

Catholic actually.

Neoliberals fucked up by trying to give conservatives a place at the table. They should've worked without them because none of them had any interest in improving the system in 2010.

The wall isnt even a good solution to illegal immigration stop being such a cuck

It costs $1milli to have a heart attack but rich people are immortal. So worth it

Obamacare has already set things on that track. Did you know that Obamacare is literally a 7 foot tall stack of papers? Do you know how many bureaucrats had to be hired to deal with that mess? Think that has something to do with increasing rates?

Do you think all the Dems who voted for it actually understood the damn thing? Of course not, let that sink it. How many people do you think actually understand an entire 7 foot tall stack of papers? Think what that does to someone trying to provide healthcare. That's only a small fraction of the laws regarding healthcare.

This is what government has done to your healthcare, and here we have a bunch of "progressives" arguing to do it more.

Attached: 1497990775143.jpg (634x445, 37K)

No, you couldn't.

You'd have to first force everyone to pay for it under the threat of violence. It would also be even worse than medicare already is.

Not true, my dad was a teacher and goes to the Mayo Clinc multiple times a year.

Hungary would disagree, they curtailed illegal immigration by something like +95% with a physical barrier. But it's not just about immigration. Gotta keep the drugs from coming in and the guns from going out and a physical barrier would go a long way.

I hope we continue to win, I hope the Berniebros continue to win like they did tonight. We can get good things done with them, unlike the neoliberal/neocon fuckery we've delt with my whole life.

Yeah it's pretty fucking morbid desu.

I'm not rich, neither is my dad.

Statistically speaking, it appears we get better healthcare but pay more for it. If your example were true, it wouldn't work out that way.

Thankfully I live in God's Lucky Country, Australia.
Our system is superior to both your overburdened Bong's and your wallet raping Sepo's.
You should move here.
>No, seriously please do, the Chinks and Poos are starting to really, really cause issues. White Australia is the right Australia (excluding boongas, kiwis, and coconuts).

>Did you know that Obamacare is literally a 7 foot tall stack of papers? Do you know how many bureaucrats had to be hired to deal with that mess?

No one knew healthcare would be this complicated!

>You'd have to first force everyone to pay for it under the threat of violence.
>MUH TAXATION IS THEFT

The only thing libertarians have ever accomplished is licking boots.

>Statistically speaking, it appears we get better healthcare but pay more for it.

Bullshit. Your dad's experience is not statistically significant. Statistically speaking, tens of millions are uninsured and untold more are underinsured.

Also, minnesota is a liberal state with a strong teacher's union. Try going to wisconsin and see how much coverage their teachers get.

>Statistically speaking
statistically speaking americans pay more to get less internationalinsurance.com/news/ranking-top-eleven-healthcare-systems-country.php

Skip health insurance altogether. Save your money. Pay in cash for the care you need. You'll get a discount

Where the fuck do you faggots work that doesn't offer good health insurance? I pay about $100 for excellent medical, vision, and dental(but dental sucks, there's literally no such thing as good dental insurance)

> Berniebros getting things done
> Proposes universal health care plan
> Doesn't even run a cost analysis of his own fucking plan
Do not let liberals near your money, fucking ever.

make a lot of money so am forced by the government to pay ~3000$ a month to subsidize all the lazy muslims on social welfare

had a tooth knocked out by a drunk muslim and had to pay 80% of the costs for my implant aswell

such is life in germanistan

a fellow one nation voter?
