Besides lifting user, what are your hobbies?

Besides lifting user, what are your hobbies?

I'm trying to play video games less but so far I don't have anything to replace them with and you can only lift so many hours a week so I'm looking for ideas.

does taking viagra and jacking off for long periods of time count as a hobby?

Reading and running and I’m learning German

>noun, plural hob·bies. an activity or interest pursued for pleasure or relaxation and not as a main occupation
unironically yes

It depends what you want out of life. I gave up video games when I decided they weren’t getting me anywhere I wanted to be.

I picked up guitar. I've been practicing every day. Even just a little bit. I also got really interested in sports.

I like tinkering with my car, playing flute/sax and learning piano/guitar, and doing some 3 gun practice. I really want to get into hiking and hanging out in the woods by myself but I'm always too busy. I need to get back to reading more often, I can almost feel myself getting dumber, I haven't read a good book in 6 months now.

then I have a hobby, mother will be pleased.

I really like gardening. I've got a couple raised beds with root vegetables like carrots and beets in one, And some cucumbers, beans and lettuce in the others. Have a couple tomato plants in buckets as well.

It's a really relaxing hobby and its also good exercise. And you get to reap all the rewards of your hard work and effort when things grow and ripen which is really satisfying.

Even if all you have space for is some plants in pots it's still a nice hobby to get into, really good way to be productive and de-stress.

Researcher, so I deal with /sci/ shit on a daily basis, not sure if that counts?

I play golf and pool, ride my dirt bike mountain bike and road bikes, garden, read, cook, take photos, do stuff with my girlfriend like walk her dog and go minigolf/ bowling, check out local bands and open Mics on the weekends, museums aquariums art galleries, barbeque and shoot guns with her family, weekend trips to beach in summer and mountains in winter etc etc
I'm spread thin but I enjoy always doing something different

reading, programming, and hanging out with friends. i don't see much wrong with vidya in place or reading, you could argue both are a timesink. as long as it isn't getting in the way of fitness or work it's fine

I shoot guns, ride horses, and shoot guns while riding horses.

I work, I lift, I manage my investments and I sportsbet, and then I continue the endless gf search

I'll take the over that you won't get one this year

Photography is a pretty fun hobby. Kind of expensive to start, but the learning curve isn't too steep if you have any kind of creativity. People love having good pictures of themselves, and it's pretty great having good photos to document cool things you've done, especially in the age of shitty phone cameras.

Other than that, some of my minor hobbies are reading, journaling, listening to music, taking road trips, and making coffee. It's a good life, and really keeps me from being one of those "working out is my entire personality" type guys.

I'm a huge man-child who will never get another gf.

I just broke up 3 months ago so I probably need downtime to settle my head down, even then I have a few girls I'm talking to user

you may be right though, I'll give you +150 odds

who is she
i need more pictures of her to cum

Post beets.

Lol I don't know much about betting just thought it'd be funny to say. If you just got out of a relationship definitely take some time to realize what went wrong and work on it or be more selective if it was her fault. You're vulnerable right now and rushing into something will only get you hurt again and I don't want that 4 u bby ;)

What do you do now user?
Problem is I can only lift and read so much

Cooking/baking and hiking

Read philosophy, muay thai, building things when I have the money.

Yeah she was crazy, I finally had to break it off. Thx m8

What do you build user?

Photography also, macrofag here love walking trails getting nature shots of bugs and shit

I grow cannabis to pay for my lifting habits. I dont sell the bud itself but rather to extractors at wholesale. Its legal and makes a good buck that can add up. I guess if thats a hobby it would be tending my whole garden and shooting with my dad and brother.

Post bugs or gtfo

What's your setup like? Organic? HPS? Strains? I've done a few guerilla grows for personal use and countless hours of research but didn't want to go to prison and couldn't figure out how to ride the legal wave

cooking, sex, hiking, and pick up hockey pretty much sums it up

How do you get into macro?
What type of camera do I need user

Wholesome thread, thanks friends

I have an entry level d3400. Biggest investments will be lenses, body not so much important.

Its all dependant.
Outdoor its mostly organic soil with some feeds.
I use roots organic terp tea. Just mix it well with water or Add to the top of the soil and some added cal mag as i use RO water.
For soil i use a base of 80% empire builder soil and 20% Fox farms Ocean forest with some fish bone meal, blood meal, worm casting, and most importantly azomite (a form of mycroryza) in smart pots or the ground

Indoor i do 1000w hps per 4 plants, with a mix of roots organics, azomite, worm castings, perlite, and the liquid feed above with bio bizz fishmix added to the mix for a kick of nitrogen

Pic of some bluepower i ran a few years back

Dog picture looks really nice m8

>what camera do I need
This. Unless you're a pro journalist or sports photographer, the body won't make too much of a difference as far as image quality goes. Most DSLRs, even entry level, will have a good enough pixel count and frame rate. The biggest advantage to higher end bodies is ease of use. on my D5600, there are certain settings that I can only adjust by going through a bunch of menu screens, whereas on a higher end body there are more external buttons/knobs for that kind of thing so you can adjust faster.

Getting into macro just means you want a really good macro lens, or at least some really good prime lenses with wide apertures. Lenses are expensive as shit, but if you stick with the same brand, you can just keep them any time you upgrade bodies.

thanks m8, retired racing greyhound. Very odd but very good girl.

Mountain climbing, reading, studying biology, and cooking

I really want to get into gardening, sounds like it's really going well for you dude.

Cool, what's your field? I'm applying to the RMBL next year to do student research work.

paintballing
thinking about skydiving or restoring a car

Pick up an instrument and an outdoor hobby, which may vary depending on your area. Having and interesting hobby will make you more approachable and will help focus your gains on something productive. Plus, playing an instrument tends to be a panty dropper if you can actually do it well.

I play piano/ keyboard and rock climb, and that takes up plenty of time for me

lift innawoods

That's awesome man, great picture
As I understand it the smell of blood and bone meal outdoors can attract rodents, have you run into any problems with that or looked into kelp and s o ybean meal?
Peaceful Valley has a "fertilizer solution chart" pdf that can be used to reference alternatives if you ever get bored

tinker with cars, lego (its relaxing fuck you), shoot guns, make little wood trinkets, ride my bike, build model airplanes, draw, and run around with my dog in the yard

Cars and bikes. I’m a fabricator so I like to build stuff and naturally fell into this.

Ive never had a rodent or vermin problem. Always had a problem with bud worm (very destructive caterpillars that are layed by the tobacco moth) and actual spiders (they thwmselves are chill but their webs are not) i also get praying mantises but those are not bothersome. With that said i also get aphides and thrips but i havent had problems with them in 3 years.

Indppr, i spray the tents down 2 weeks prior to each and keep the place pretty concield. Overall, havent had 1 problem in like 7 years.
Some outdoor dosimints im curremtly running(sinmint cookies male x dosido female, breed by sincityseeds)
Smeels like grape skittles with a funky gnarly cookie background atm. But by them she harvests and dries and cires she should show off somthing a little different.

Seems like you've got it figured out, keep it up
Pic is some platinum cookies I picked up out west, sure do miss the variety lol

post wood trinkets

Have taken up building and painting model mechs and other mechanized stuff, uni meant that I havent had the time to dedicate to them sadly

Attached: 16e3017.jpg (3024x4032, 664K)

Photography. Easy to get into and a lot of insta thots sort of like it

yop kek

Recently quit vidya too and feel a lot better for it but now I have time on my hands. I'm thinking about learning how to dance...

Semiconductors. I wanted a field with a healthy mix of physics, chemistry, and engineering, so as an EE, semiconductors made sense. Good luck on the app. What's your research background like?

Skydiving is a good hobby to have.
It has the benefit of enforcing social gains in order to progress past a basic level

BRO! Destiny must have showed me your post.
Aphids are literally fucking me in the ass bareback lately, how do I get rid of them?

I used to play vidya too but have now replaced that with watching movies/series.
I also read literature but could pick up the pace a little (a moderate book of 500-600 pagesg might take up to 4-5 months)

But the hobby I most enjoy is playing pickup basketball at the nearby open courts.
And I'm not even that good but.

Woodworking.
Small digital electronics.
3d printing and open source shit.
Reading books.
Camping.

Btw, I already tried spraying my plants with water with white soap, with cayenne pepper, with vinager... These fuckers just keep going on and not giving a fuck.

Bouldering
it's fun and challenging and it will make your forearms, biceps and back yuge

Attached: soyjak.png (1000x1000, 123K)

I dance. I've gotten more pussy on the dancefloor than anywhere else. Girls just see transferable skills they would love to see in bed.

Reading, rowing, guitar

Don't bother. I do martial arts and train 3-6 hours 5 days a week and work on the weekends and I still have more time than I know what to do with.

Replace running with muay thai and you are me.

Same here, stopped gaming, now reading alot more and sports of course.
General I'm giving myself more time for improvement.

Go to bed, Matt

An atrocious waste of digits, but I'm proud of you! Great work on all you've accomplished so far. You can do it, whatever it is you want to do.

This meme doesn't really resemble anyone I know at all. Seems kind of personal. Sorry about that.

Go to used bookstore and take from the free pile. Read the self help books first.

Don't let anyone tell you how to live your life or make decisions for your life. Figuring things out for ourselves is the only freedom man truly has

you do you anonymous

Yeah, I stopped after 25 years.

Well, what do the chines say: the best day to plant a tree is yesterday, the second best is today

Boxing, collecting pictures of cute anime girls and helping out my old man with his building projects on weekends.
Also going out into the wild every so often.

damn son

That's a damn fine mech, man. What is it?
I'm more into tonks myself.

Attached: IMGP2209 2.jpg (1600x1200, 1.47M)

Wanted to get into 3d printing how hard is it

Cooking
Welding & Woodwork
Programming C# (it's fun to make bots do your bidding)

I want to start learning other languages, I'm just not sure where to start now back in the USA. Spanish I guess is the next best thing.
Probably should pickup an instrument aswell.

It's a shame I started doing all this now instead of back when I was a early teen (age 14). Takes a while to find yourself.

Skating, freeskiing, surfing, piano, drums. I recommend any and all of them.

reddit, go back there

>
Did I won something?

Warhammer, literature, music and guitar playing.

I still play vydia, but instead of playing 10-12 hours per week I now play 2 or 3 hours per week at most. Managed to replace it with reading and basketball, feels pretty good

Video games, photography, cooking, 'gardening' (does my row of herb on my windowsill count?), sound effects (this one may sound a bit autistic; I like to imagine a place (e.g. a server room), then record samples with my phone and load them into DAW and turn them into something)
I really need something I can meet friends with, though. Maybe photography clubs are a thing?

>besides lifting
I read historical & religious literature, argue with Catholics, and write essays.

studying law
i try not only to improve my physics but my brain too
like Arnold did ...

I fell asleep my man, sorry. Here you go.

I've already picked a few of the biggest ones I'll probably pick the rest here soon since its getting pretty cold at night where I live now.

Beets are on the far left, carrots on the right, beans in back.

Guitar and skateboarding

>my thing's sound effects. here's a t - rex HUUUUHHHHHHHNNYEHHH

Besides fitness (lifting and running) my only other main hobby is studying the Word and working on sermons. I'm speaking for the first time to a young 20s group in a couple of weeks.

Working and drinking. Is this good?

Golf, buy and sell golf clubs from Japan, write, swim, run, trying to get back into ice hockey, cooking, going to nice restaurants, hiking, reading, but mostly watching my daughter grow up and learning Japanese when I have time.

fapping is degenerate pharma jew is degenerate not a hobby sad!

I skate and produce shitty edm

Attached: zoomer.png (820x324, 244K)

Reading, writing, wargaming (and all those other sub-hobbies which encompass it), vidya, HEMA, drawing, shooting, camping (and general innawoods stuff) and general /tg/ stuff

I collect warhammer stuff.

Right now im working on my Bloodthirster.

Attached: garreks reavers.jpg (2048x1536, 363K)

Those are pretty cool, user. Did you paint them yourself?

I play guitar.

Yes sir.

I've also got a small Orks force too.

Attached: orkscolab.jpg (2880x2160, 1.21M)

This is a nice hobby I used to did. Then changed for trains.
