I'm learning Japanese and German myself. I've also got back into reading. Plan on going thru all the major philosophy stuff. Once I'm done with that then I feel I can start writing a novel. I may have to re read the philosophical works tho. But it's cool. I plan on learning French, Italian, Russian and Arabic as well. Maybe Korean. Might not all be useful. But I do plan on traveling. Talking to an ex always depends on the circumstances of your relationship. If you two were friends and maybe got into a brief relationship, it should be alright to hangout with her and other people. You don't have to be an expert on it, just set up a list of projects and things you wanna do and just pick away at it when you find that you have free time. I've found that my list grows just as fast as I can tick things off and it keeps me mostly occupied.

Try restricting what you surf the web on, most things are a pain to navigate on a small screen and you should cut down on the constant "opening of a new tab and checking what you checked 5 minutes ago" habit.

That or try to go completely cold turkey for a day, then two, a few days etc. I put my laptop on a shelf for a week and it was the most productive time I had in a while.

Teaching myself philosophy, logic, mathematics, history, basic psychology, and business skills everyday whilst wageslaving. Trying to study classic cinema to get a better appreciation for the art as well.

In terms of good stuff I finally fixed my overhead press form and got 145 for two reps. My squat form got really bad as I approached 365*2, so I've been doing extra practice volume to try and get the muscle memory down. I'm feeling kind of shitty that my progress is so slow, especially considering I'm heavier (chubbier) than I'd like.

They should just make a new board for self improvement. To make it less of a Jow Forums clone, they could just make the board be about self improvement outside of the gym/working out.

Therapy won't help you user. You need to give yourself a reason to live and that starts by acknowledging that only you can give yourself that reason. Search for it and it will come to you.

I used to drink 10 cups of coffee a day, now I-m down to 2.
I reduced the amount I drank by 1 cup every 5 day.
(9 cups for 5 days, 8 cups for 5 days...) now I'm at 2.

When you get the urge to drink coffee, replace it with herbal tea (don't drink black tea because it has the same or more amount of caffeine than a cup of coffee).

Depends on what time you go to bed. Just make sure you're getting between 9 and 7 hours of sleep and you're good.

this is good advice for many years i had a credit card and was paying of regular monthly payment but the amount i owed kept creeping up so i payed it off with my saving and havent used it since, instead what i would have payed monthly goes into my savings instead, it pains me to think about how much extra money i spent using the credit card in interest payments

And once this happens you will see that women will give you the time of day, and that you will command attention in the room. However this won't matter to you because you have elevated yourself above the rest.

You've got time. Explore, try things, experiment, do shit. Once you find something you like and/or you're good at, stick to it and make the most of it. In the meantime, experiment as much as possible. Take part time jobs while doing this for getting practical. Don't worry, you'll make it.

Go see a therapist. It will be useful, they are here for you, this is their job. They've seen tons of fucked up people, and they actually like to see them improving because of what they advice you. If your first experience/first therapist isn't as good as you would, try another one. They are multiple therapist with different approach, you must find the one that fits you.

Its all a mental game man. The disciplined and focused human mind can achieve incredible things. I wouldn't try to go cold turkey right away but slowly and slowly decrease the amount of times you fap each week, and soon you'll realize what a waste it is.
