l2 read, it's called strength training for a reason. you do GAIN muscle mass but it is not OPTIMAL, you'll eventually need more volume as you advance and limiting yourself to low rep ranges won't do much, there's a reason dips or dbb bench is superior to bench press in regards to building chest size as well since the barbell limits your movement to a degree

I'm currently doing this. And for me, the answer is no; I split the phases 1 and 2 up over two workouts (e.g. phase 1a, phase 1b, etc.)
This routine just appeals to be more than Stronglifts, SS, or the others. Dunno why.
