It takes about a year. You're sol sadly.
Life is shit.

Fuck. Well thanks for the heads up.

If I got an attorney or something would that speed things up?

No. It takes a year with an attorney. You will most likely get back pay.

not OP but do you have a throwaway email user

I can easily get one. Why what's up?

Welo that'll be nice. I am assuming I can pay the attorney with that.

took about 1 year and it was denied. they actually made up lies to deny it as well. its a kangaroo court and your best chance is having a shit load of evidence from different sources. even with that it boils down to if the judge and medical consultant like you.

I'm bipolar and have other weird anxiety's and panic attack type shit but never diagnosed . Is it even worth starting the whole process ? Is it a for sure thing ? I never been to a doctor or shrink so I don't wanna go down as crazy as fuck and then not get the disability

In exact same boat, same thing, schizo wondering how I can get diablity because I too cant keep it up.

not sure what to do.

I got on 11 years ago and took me about 2 1/2 years. I don't know if it's gotten better but also depends where you live from what I have seen and been told.
Also how much stuff you got backing up your case as well.
It almost always goes to court though.
So be prepared to get a lawyer.

No I don't. I will answer questions here like I have been.
Attorney's will usually work something out.
You'll need a psychologist to back you up usually. The key is to prove you can't work.

you do get a nice check from that year though

You need proof of your diagnosis and need to convince them you cannot sustain yourself due to the disability.

Yeah I've got 2 psychiatrists that diagnosed me and have encouraged me to go this route.

You need to be fully diagnosed and considered to be stabilised before the make that judgement. Basically if, even after treatment, you still can't work THATS when they give you disability.

>i mentally can't keep going
yeah right lmao

That's good. If you get an attorney to help you you're set. Most likely.
That doesn't help them now.

Sorry you don't know what schizophrenia is. It's not like some random bout of depression faggot.

ignore him, i have schizo and worked since I was 9 years old in labor.

I have had it and just recently got diagnosed because it has gotten so unbareable.

the prick doesnt understand so letem go fuckem self.

I know your pain friend, sorry.

Thanks. Hope things work into your favor.

>have hole in heart and hypotension
>not often but had moments where I cough up bits of blood
>still denied disabilities
I fucking hate my existence

Did you get an attorney or did you try it on your own?

Tried on my own, went into it with several medical files showing my conditions over the years, they basically went "well you've been doing fine so far and its not looking like its getting worse" so they dismissed it. I should have gotten an attorney.

You can always choose to repeal.
I'd at least consult with an attorney

Appeal* whoops.

About a year or so. I'm an Aspie with depression, anxiety and avoidant personality disorder. I know this being at home all the time and stewing in this regret while trying to distract myself with vidya is only making things worse, but I'm just too lazy to do anything different because this is what I'm used to and change is so frightening. I'm sorry about your situation, OP.

Ya Im on disability make 2100ish a month tax free and aboit 3500 from VA but I'm a old fag and paid into the system, had a POS psychologist write lies about me in first exam but my records for 2 years held up I had to get a lawyer 2nd exam saw another guy and he wrote the truth won got backpaid 48k anyhow if you need it get it and get a laywer

I'll get back into that suit with an attorney likely soon, maybe this time it wont be as big of a migraine if I have someone else help with the case

Thank you. I hope you find a lifestyle that works for you

Also guys and gals they do the BS at first when I got the doctor exam he made shit up.. exagerated it fucking broke me for a few weeks but just appeal it and they have to do it if you are young 50 under way to many people lie to get free money but if you are disabled keep faith you will get it if you NEED IT, also took 18 months for me

My penis is feminine and I have sex with men wonder if I could get it

Holy shit. 18 months? How did you survive in the meantime?

Good luck user! Originally of course

Im a old fag x military when I got a medical retirement I was on VA money when my military pay ended, I know other people who are disabled and its rough need a savings for sure and they can take either of mine away if they wanted and Id be fucked, I go see doctors and get meds but its a cucked life, I would rather work then depend on govbux

Lol at my hearing the job specialist said I would need a job that required me to have 2 hour naps and give me time off for doctors app and let me call in if I couldnt drive do to medicqtions, and it had to be a quiet enviroment where I was alone lmao said 2k jobs in my area that would allow this no one would hire under this haha

what the fuck kind of disability would require that?

I hear you. I honestly don't want to be doing this, but I'm not reliable or safe to be in the workspace right now.

Sounds like a good time. Guess I'll prepare for the worst

Mental health from shit ended up getting a TBI and broke back problems lol they had other requirements cant remember them but it was insane, keep safe and take care of yourself well expect the worse and know you will get it make sure you have medical files

Took me about 3 months. I applied myself online, got a letter in the mail like 2 months later to visit a doctor who interviewed me, then 1 month later I got a call saying I've been approved and will receive money. Either way, if you do get denied, keep applying as you'll receive a lump sum amount of cash based on the date you first applied or when your symptoms started. You could consider looking to get a disability lawyer that will take a percentage of what every money you do eventually get though.

At most is 3k cant go over that they use to have laywers who would drag cases out for years and years to get more money from client

Nice.
Was yours a physical disability or mental?
I don't really know if a lawyer is what I need.. but my memory is total fucking garbage right now.

The one I got referred to was from my psychiatrist.

Attached: 1523121253171.png (331x278, 274K)

Ya thats good was saying old days they did this not like that now

If you get a lawyer they dont charge its % up to 3k they can get

mental but I've had a history of mental shit for years beforehand. it wasn't until I lost my shit (cops called) and lost everything before I applied. I was unemployed for 2 years and living with parents before I applied. I did have a work history too. oh, and I've never been to a psych ward or w/e but I heard it helps.

Ah damn. Yeah getting cops called on you sucks dude. I guess lucky for me I've been in a psych ward 4 times, and had all lasted a couple weeks. (One stay was for 2 months)

Guess I'll get records from those

The Remus guide is quite outdated, but does give a general idea of what you need to do.

i've had Schizophrenia since 7, but the lack of a paper tail made it take literally 3 years for me

also, i didn't have a lawyer, but i did have a caseworker
i too ended up homeless
there is a difference between SSI and whatever the other one is called that i forget
also also, it wasn't so much i didn't have a paper trail so much as the records disappeared from existance, somehow

Yeah I don't know much the differences in SSI and SSDI are. That backpay must have been nice once you finally got it though.
Are you resorting to section 8 housing?

Attached: f0b.jpg (675x559, 89K)

>Yeah I don't know much the differences in SSI and SSDI
the only distinction that i can recall is that SSDI requires you to have worked for a certain time, something i was not capable of doing
SSI is a very small fixed amount of money, SSDI varies
i can't help you beyond that
>Are you resorting to section 8 housing?
nah, i live in a closet with everything for $250 a month

Attached: NEET-Hiki.png (500x281, 110K)

Gotcha. Well I hope the closet is at least cozy for you user. I'll definitely will be in similar living conditions soon.
