Progress report: I have done about 30 minutes of work in like 3 hours. I have 3 hours left before bed to get my shit done.

Why stop fapping? let me share my experience with no fap with you. I did no fap for about 8 months, in that time, I saw no significant increase or decrease in anything other than my free time. I didn’t feel any better or worse, pretty average overall. I just didn’t fap. It felt really good to do it again after so long which made me realize if you do it daily it becomes meaningless but if you do it once every couple days or so you can be happy and content with yourself and your masturbatory habits.

Define movement. You see, all you guys care about are the same trapping everyone else has (money, family, careers, etc.). My question is if that stuff is all you aspire to, what is the point of "self improvement"? All it seems to do is make you even more of a slave instead of giving absolute freedom. I've tried spirituality and self improvement and all both do is make you ok with your slavery instead of helping you escape a cruel system that no longer serves humanity. Is there truly no alternative to all the bullshit I've been told my entire life, or is it truly assimilation or death?

If you truly want to escape society and never be a wageslave again, go innawoods , become self sufficient and homestead, trap and hunt animals, grow your own vegetables and fruits, etc. For most people who do this, they still interact and commerce with modern society, for some though, they truly are on their own and, similarly, tend to live lives or relative solitude. If this is your prerogative, then by all means, go live that life. But you will need to be hardy and capable of much more than the average person is willing to do day to day.

As for spirituality, yes, buddhism and mindfulness spiritualituies tend to seem that you should just accept the world as is and not do anything to change it, but this isn't actually waht buddhist "acceptance" means. It just means that you understand it is how it is because that is how it is. You are free to change that if you see fit, but the core of acceptance is not getting upset at things, because there is no real point to getting upset. If you want to change something, seek to understand it, and then you can change it with a cool head.

is going from running / exercising 0 times a week to ~3 times a week going to make a difference? is there a way for me to calculate how much I'd gain/lose by going up to ~4 times a week, or going down to ~2 times a week?

You'll need to exercise regularly to have a "well shaped body", at least 3x per week, for an hour each session. You don't have to go to the gym, you can stay at home and do calisthenics instead, or do cardio and HIIT.

Every single day. But don't do your max or go until failure for each exercise. For example, if you can do 10 pullups, only do 5-6. You don't want to get sore because then you'll be less likely to do any exercise. I've been doing this with dips, pull-ups(regular, chins and neutral gip), squats, leg raises(on a parallel bar), push ups on rings, planks. It's really boosted my work capacity and I feel more solid. I also do curls until I get a nice pump. Never sore, always have ample energy and I'm noticing gains. Especially with the dips.

Running is dumb. Unless you're sprinting or walking, it's not worth it joint wise. Jump rope is superior if you can get a mat or find a padded place to do it. The coordination gains you get from it are unreal. Your ankles probably hurt because you either don't have enough support or are running wrong.

any recommended brand?
I'm using Nivea shaving cream currently, don't know if it's bad or not
