I agree that we're at an extreme low point. If I could sum it all up I would just say, everything is shit. No one is happy, no one is creative, nothing really gets done.

One possibility is that younger generations are starting to use Jow Forums and they bring with them their new (and in my opinion) shitty attitudes. They change what the Jow Forums community is. I don't hate them or blame them since I don't think they know better. In a way its upsetting that all they know is simple shallow edginess.

I think its like that "mouse utopia experiment" thing. In short its an experiment about how population density effects how mice work and live together. Even if they all have enough food and water to live happily the extreme population density causes the entire society to collapse. Several archetypes of mice emerge.
1. Hyper aggressive mice
2. Selfish poor mothers who do not care for their young
3. Zombie like mice (typically the children of selfish parents). They drift through life doing essentially nothing. A big part of this is that they make NO social bonds and exhibit depressive behavior.

I think that this reflects a lot of the problems that are getting worse in our hyper connected socially dense modern world. Hyper selfish aggressive people seem to be dominating the political world right now. Think about the typical "Trump voter conservative" or "SJW snowflake liberal". They are more similar than different in my opinion and both groups are upset, reactionary and stuck in their selfish viewpoints of the world. I guess we (and even more so the younger generation who are coming onto Jow Forums now) are the zombies. Because of our extremely dense social society, we can't find social roles that we fill. We essentially fill NO social roles. Society itself collapses as our ability to find and fill social roles collapses due to an over-abundence of people to fill roles.
