What to do when you've got the symptoms of an impingement coming (left shoulder pain, burning and tightness in the front). It's been rearing its head occasionally so far only after sets of chest isolation and push press (I assume because it's hard to keep your scapula on lock for the latter) but yesterday it started happening during bench which is obviously a big deal which needs to be confronted asap.
What do? Soft tissue work and rehab movements? Ice and Ibuprofen? All of the above?

i think that the amrap is retarded, and its better to do volume. less burn out, and more work load. so you do the 5x5, 5x3 or 5x1 depending on week (then increase as the program says) then you do the accessories where you address your weak points.

I have always done face pulls twice a week and will definitely be doing BPAs as part of warm-up now, yeah.
