The poor often work hard but in a meaningless way and are prone to extreme self sabotage, be it drug use, getting a criminal record, having many kids when unable to afford them.

Poor people are lazy at certain things. They go out everyday to their shit manual labor jobs and have no problem. They think they are living a top life, while "educated" people get paid a lot more to sign letters and push paper over their desks. Which is lazier? Poor people are more than ready to earn money for themselves doing shit jobs, but will NEVER do anything to help someone else or put themselves out in any way. The reason "educated" people have got easier jobs is because they have put themselves out for others and built rapport and are likable.
