>freshman year at a small liberal arts college
>beautiful campus, nature reserve that acts as a water supply in the middle of campus
>happy people walking their dogs around and riding bikes with their kids.
>ride my bike around campus and literally can't go a minute without seeing someone I know
>13:1 faculty to student ratio
>1400 undergrads on any given year
>everyone around me is reasonably intelligent, well mannered, cultured, and genuinely inquisitive
>sjw shit isn't nearly as hard to ignore as most people here make it out to be
>literally getting a world class education and crawling out of my robot shell
>say hi to people I see around campus constantly, know of about 50% of the all freshman already.
>already memorized the first two declensions of ancient Greek by the end of my first week of class
>Plato, Socrates, Homer, Thucydides in small (9 students) conferences and hugely detailed lectures.

I fucking love this place. Never before have I felt so accepted anywhere more than this. There literally isn't a day that goes by that something wonderful or beautiful or hilarious doesn't happen. I cannot believe I was even accepted to this place at all. I don't even have to take any loans at all to be here. When I was in high school, I was a complete pariah, dickhead, and social outcast, and even flirted with and embraced MGTOW and alt-right ideology for a long time.

I cannot believe how far past that life I am right now. Jow Forums at this point seems like a distant artifact from a mindset that I used to have that I cannot even fathom now. I don't know what to say, Jow Forums, despite having Cs in highschool somehow my life has been affirmed, and I actually don't need to kill myself, and I actually won't die alone.

Doesn't matter how much you enjoy the College when you can't get a job for any liberal arts major. Unless you're very competitive, very ambitious, very sacrificial and/or very exceptional.

I mean this in all good will, switch majors. It isn't too late. And if you don't now and have a hard time later and realize you can't get a job or at least a decent paying job, switch then.

I'm at a big state uni party school in Arizona trying to study math. It's hell, all the people here are just here to party, are dumb as fuck, and don't know what a library is. Worst of all are the greek life students. I'm not even sure they realize people are supposed to come to college to learn.
