>Apply to hundreds of jobs >Do dozens of phone interviews, online tests, in person interviews >"Thanks for your interest but we're moving ahead with another candidate"
>Why don't you have a job user? You can't just sit at home all day
Happened to me for about 6 months of non stop applying, so I said fuck it and quit school and got a warehouse job again
Angel Cook
Like what am I even supposed to do? I keep broadening my search, I've looked across the whole country, lowered my expectations.
Am I just supposed to keep going back to school over and over forever? Everyone already thinks i'm some deadbeat retard so I can't spend years in college again
I don't see a way out
Zachary Ramirez
Work for Amazon wearhouse. They always hiring.
Brandon Evans
I dont know user. I need a job too.
Nicholas Long
fast food or retail
Gavin Carter
I have my degree in HR and am in the same position, applying to clerk roles and factory positions just trying to get work at this point but haven't had a bite. I'm not being a secretary again, I'll kill myself before that happens
Nicholas Murphy
just become a burglar that steals from rich ppl burgling is pretty easy and safe, if you're careful
Brandon Jenkins
>
Gettinbg a job is pis easy. IF education and preferably internships. Otherwise applying to min wage jobs you have to spam 100's off, it's a joke.
t. someone whose done both
Ryan Howard
I have IT internships at good companies and it doesnt matter, I get an interview here and there but its never enough, always rejected without explanation. Like people just don't like me I guess , so I should just die..?
Ayden Williams
don't you need connections to a fence? loser NEETs don't usually have that background.
Michael Green
Is your uni/college shit? Also you're ot going to get it first time unless you're exceptional
Adam Nguyen
If you have experience/college hire someone to fix up your resume. It's the best money you'll ever spend.
If you don't have experience get an entry level job at fast food/retail/whatever. Your imagine will survive and you will have real experience dealing with working in the real world.
Jaxson Jones
Amazon warehouses have one of the worst work environments imaginable. Timed bathroom breaks, insane quotas, think fast-paced in a normal fashion but x10. I've heard nothing but nightmare stories from people who work there. But on the plus side, the pay is a little better than other warehouses. So if you wanna piss yourself from on the clock anxiety, go for it.
Benjamin Hughes
I have a nice job where I can take breaks to shitpost. That said:
1. I'm top 1% intelligent AND I had to work really hard to get to where I am.
2. I got in with no connections but out of the 4 other people who joined the company at the same time as me, I know for sure 3 of them knew other people working there before they got the job. I'm not sure about the last one but he's an Indian and it's a tech related field so it's likely he knew someone too. It really is all about nepotism, forget hard work.
Juan Clark
I dropped out of college, applied for 5 jobs and got interviews for 5. I went to 2 of them and got offers from both jobs. Currently making 25/hr. I like to think it's okay for a dropout.
>I had to work really hard to get to where I am. >forget hard work
pick one
Parker Taylor
Sorry to say, but nowadays you don't get into positions higher than minimum wage retail/food/service cuckery unless you're willing to suck some dick, or know someone who knows someone at the company
Ayden Sanchez
Pretty clear what he said.
Be exceptional and work hard or go for the connections route
bullshit, the one in my area had 18 people show up to interview for one position
Jackson Howard
nah, all you need to burgle are some basic tools and internet tutorials burglars rarely operate in groups
John Rivera
same as this guy for the most part >graduated second in class in a program of 200 people (only 40 graduated) >get hired onto high turn over rate project for internationally reputable company >work ass off into higher role, apply out to government job and get hired right away due to connections made on the job I had to bust my ass for about 2 years, but it's all coming together now. I spend 4 of my 8 hours at work on reddit because I'd probably be fired for browsing Jow Forums.
Daniel Price
This is true. I got my latest job because my mom's neighbor and her son worked at the place. Unless I knew those fuckers, I'm sure I wasn't getting it.
Julian Diaz
Nah I mean selling the loot Guess you could just pawn it tho I'll look into it.
Jonathan Rivera
>I can't became a slave >better kill myself
Joseph Taylor
McDonalds aren't the only fastfood store around user.
I'm not comfortable with leeching off my family and having everyone hate me, I'd rather just be dead
Lucas Clark
That's why we have NEETbux, why do you need to leech on your family?
Adam Cook
Until you remember that decent pawn shops id you when you sell them things and report people who bring in suspicious items :/
Owen Nguyen
l applied once a few years ago and got denied
Lincoln Green
Once is denied you apply for it again immediately.
Jeremiah Mitchell
you sell it with a fake ebay account obviously
Gabriel Bennett
Why didn't i think of this Just goes to show how detached I am
Brandon Davis
Some time ago I bombed an interview for a repo position, spilled my spaghetti so hard when they asked about a good feature of myself; I spoke about loyalty and the japanese people and that I have a japanese work mindset culture (I'm not). It was a turbonormie Stacy who interviewed me. I still remember the awkward face she made when I spoke about that.
I've been applying to jobs nonstop since I graduated in May, I have absolutely nothing to show for it. I'm going for another interview tomorrow but I'm just getting apathetic at this point. Really considering just applying to some shitty retail job since no real company seems willing to take me
Daniel Carter
I've had a few interviews that went amazing but I still got rejected. I literally have no clue what the fuck I'm doing wrong.
The worst part is they don't even give feedback or any reason for your rejection. It's just "You were great but we're moving ahead with someone else :^)". Every fucking time.
Dominic Nguyen
I'm so sick of seeing an email notification pop up that's like "RE: [Company Name] Interviewer ID 112576" and your heartrate picks up as you anxiously open it only to see the same old "We appreciate your interest but we do not feel that your skillset would be a good fit for this role, good luck in your search :))))"
JUST HIRE ME FUCKERS, I'LL DO ANYTHING YOU TELL ME FOR A PAYCHECK
literally just work in a call centre, there staff turnaround is massive
you'll probably hate it but its a job
James Reyes
>Just harass people on the phone for 8 hours a day
i think i'd rather just die
Carson Price
look for inbound call centres, fuck outbound
Elijah Wright
selling stolen goods with an ebay account is incredibly stupid. don't listen to this guy. you're better off finding a pawn shop a few states over to unload the heavy stuff
Zachary Moore
Not op but I got turned down there twice already
Owen Sanders
Being turned down by Mcdonalds is a magnificent feat and I want to congratulate you for experiencing it TWICE and not becoming an hero
Noah Flores
Anyone know how to make money online? I'm not looking into earning a living, but just something so I can tell people around me that I'm actually working and earning a decent amount of money. I'm from europe, have good skills in both english and dutch. preferably something without (much) face to face interaction via skype or w/e
Lucas Harris
>buy box of Doughnuts >head to local recruitment company >start handing out the doughnuts >start handing out resumes
Hudson Edwards
This, unironically. Drop the "i'm too good for retail" attitude, if you have it. You obviously aren't,
Angel Howard
I did IT internships at major corporations
working retail basically means saying goodbye to any possibility of a career, as I'll have to add walmart greeter to my resume or have a huge unexplainable gap
Hunter Gomez
>IT internships at major corporations
sorry to burst your bubble but unless it was programming related and you made personal connections with good references who could point to a position or recommend you, that doesn't really mean anything. Corporations literally get subsidies for taking university/college students on so unless they notice you are clearly exceptional (in which case they would have hired you) they just went through the motions.
t. work a minimum wage bullshit "IT" job for a small shop which a relative helped me get after 6 months of fruitless job hunting (even fast food and retail)
Landon Turner
>have two friends working at a local Kmart >figure it's time to find a job so try to apply >turned down twice despite two people I know working there and getting hired in a week Fuck this. Can't even get a retailcuck job. Tried for a month and only got three interviews. Gave up last week
