Is it legal to take photos through the window of the apartments across the street?

take close up photos of the apartment building, the window is incidental

Well that depends, are you attractive? If you are then go for it.

wait a second there buddy, is that eliza

who is this future Anne Rice?

no not really desu desu

no, because people in the street have the assumption of privacy from certain angles, at certain hours, and under certain special circumstances

I am talking about taking pics from my window into the window of another place, into the bedroom

i have a suspicion this is ciara horan

is this ok desk

Attached: 1535571351620.jpg (443x787, 32K)

you are correct brooda

It's legal so long as the photos being taken are from a public area or a private area you are permitted to be on.

That being said, you're still likely to be charged with a sex crime doing that unless you're chad enough

then i shall wait for ms. horan's autobiography - the girl who faced Anonymous.

what? how can it be legal and a sex crime?

So what you're asking is if it's legal to take pictures of naked women in their appartment under the presumption that you were "just taking photos of the neighbouring building because I am a fan of architecture"?

No, that's not legal.

Actually, you are wrong. If you own or rent an apartment and can see into another apartment from a place you are allowed to be, you are allowed to take photos.

Please don't take pictures of my apartment man, I see you over there at your place, late at night, up like me, small lamp and a computer monitor giving off a lite glow, your room is more exposed than you think, maybe you should get some better curtains and close your blinds all the way.
You have been warned

oh? wat is dis? do i see some fatal attraction type shit happening?

OwO

Because prosecution can shit out a "reasonable expectation of privacy" which will instantly turn into a sex crime (assuming OP is the pervert I think he is)

>reasonable expectation of privacy = women shouldn't be held responsible for their own actions or lack of action (such as drawing curtains or closing blinds to achieve actual privacy from public view)

tl;dr - taking any pictures of any female in any situation that you do not know personally is risky in modern western society

There is a subclause that you cannot take photos of private property as an exception to the "if you can see it you can shoot it" concept.

i doubt you can find me anyone in the USA who has been prosecuted for taking photos out of his own window

lol everything is private property, every house building whatever, you could hardly take a pic if that were true

>There is a subclause that you cannot take photos of private property as an exception to the "if you can see it you can shoot it" concept.
brb suing google street view for photographing my house and windows

It's unlikely mostly because there's very little risk of getting caught.
BUT I bet you there has been at least one guy fucked over for doing just that even if the actual charge doesn't reflect that particular act.
>most jurisdictions have blanket laws to cover things like that. "Unlawful sexual contact" is one such law where I live

You can find lots of cases of people being prosecuted for taking photos into someone else's window. Where you're standing has no bearing on the ruling.

You're literally trying to use disenguine ""common sense"" to justify to yourself that it's okay to do something very clearly and plainly illegal.

But it's not us or your conscience or even "common sense" that will decide a ruling, it's the law which is very explicit on this topic.

If you take pictures, upload them or get seen doing it, you can be prosecuted harshly.

Dont pussyfoot

Google blurs insides where possible and typically cannot resolve images that clearly. Plus their lawyers are likely amazung.

Technically that's the case but usually they give you a pass. There's a difference between a picture of a hotel lobby and a shot into a window of someone in the buff.

Stop trying to "common sense" rationalize this with apples to oranges. It's illegal.

>You can find lots of cases of people being prosecuted for taking photos into someone else's window. Where you're standing has no bearing on the ruling.
Yes it does, if you trespass onto their property and take photos into their window that is illegal.

If you are sitting in your own home and take a photo out of your own window and catch some of your neighbors house and window in the photo you take from your own home, you will not be executed harshly under the felony law of "no pictures out your own window lol"

you idiot

Tldr if you want to break the law and don't think you'll get caught, do it pussy.

But don't think you can wise-talk your way out of court, you're not that smart.

That only applies to certain situations. If you can see into private property (including into windows) while standing on the street you're legal. If there is a wall that prevents said view then it would be illegal to mount your camera on a pole to see over the wall
Wall=expectation of privacy

>It's illegal.
cite the law that says if I am in my living room I can not take a photo of my living room that includes the view out my window if you can see my neighbors house in it

Penal Code,Revised Code of Washington, Chapter 9A, 9A.44.120

I don't live in wasting ton

checkmate

you're allowed to take pictures of anything and anyone from public roads, the problem it starts to become stalking.

if it's up to 3 times you're fine, if someone calls the cops you can just say you were shooting projects for an art project

18 U.S. Code 1801 - Video voyeurism

I use film

>18 U.S. Code 1801 - Video voyeurism
That does not count bro, you do not have a "reasonable expiation of privacy" when you stand nude in front of a window that can be seen by your neighbors or the pubic roads

yo she has some nice tits

damn those are huge

See how that holds up in court dude.

Like I said, if you want to try just do it but don't act like you're air tight or even have money for lawyers.

Try asking Jow Forumslegaladvice or some shit and see what people not slanted towards "fuck normies"

It will hold up just fine user, it's well accepted common law that you can take photos of private places from any place you are allowed to be.

Again, you can stand nude in front of a window visible from the street or your neighbors house and then claim you had a REASOANBLE expatiation of PRIVACCY

She so cute last stream
