Wheres home and where are you? What takes you so far from home? Im just bored and interested in meeting some new people, chilling in my apartment, trying to find a job and coasting off savings.

Well it depends on how you execute it, but the idea by itself I think is a little stale. But im not the type of person who is into that type of thing normally.

more of an amateur, never wrote seriously. it's about a dude with a curious mind who clones himself and sends the clone, controlled by the same mind, into space. so he experiences 2 lives at once.

the in-universe space has fate-creatures: great luminous balls of flesh. at first fought by Spaceman as enemies, then slowly becoming less significant. in the end no more than nuisance.

as story progresses, Spaceman slowly loses his humanity. at the story's climax, his last friend - a hitchiker wingman - is overloaded by knowledge from the center of a fate-creature. Spaceman loses himself in the resulting fate-creature rampage, that spans millenia. In the end, the fate-creatures, whose evolution he forced, are revealed to be more human than Spaceman. he goes vegetative and fades.

Sounds like a 60's or 70's sci-fi story. Is it violent? I typically need guts and gore to keep me interested in a story.

humm. well, the concept i have right now is a bit more detailed. no actual story yet though. and don't want to dump detailed concept yet, it has many things i want to flesh out.

perhaps the story just suits r9k well with its melancholy. i'll try putting it up here as i write. perhaps even this thread, if it's alive by the time chapter 1 is done. will try to keep it brief but sweet.

oh, definitely. one chapter-concept already is. but i don't intend to keep it constantly violent, a big part will be just growing dread.

now that you said it though, violence would probably be good for the first fate-creature battle. in order to keep it as material and human as possible. a real down-to-earth adventure, before the storm.

oh... i'd probably just use some sort of simple text app. you probably won't have enough to manage yet to warrant a special app, not that i know of any.

I mean for the story desu. Definitely going to be some fucking and killing involved, both being very graphic.

I use Writer Plus, it's very simple.

There's also AI Writer and monospace. This have more options like text alignment, italics, bold, etc and you can add images.

Also, Google Keep is a good idea, too. It automatically saves what you write.

What happened to Omegle is a fucking travesty. It nothing but ASL? and stuff like that ad infinitum now. The fucking bots have more variety and depth than the vast majority of people there now.

there's also Shamchat, but it's choke full of erotic roleplayers. people who ironically are the least interested in chatting.

Don't call them erotic role players, that phrase lends a sense of dignity to it doesn't posses and does a disservice to people who actually role play. Call it cybersex like people used to.

Only strength of mind, and a very powerful undisclosed technology. It's literally the same person, the way I imagine it. Do you think I'll be able to develop him without creating too much filler? Maybe if I'm just careful?
