Listen, it all depends on what you want to binge. If you want to get into anime, get into it. Not like a "just do it lol" but when you watch it get immersed or AT LEAST try to connect to the characters.

Shiki and Non Non Biyori are two of my favourite anime that I enjoyed.
If you want a movie to watch, i'd recommend '5 centimetres per second' or Howl's moving castle. OR Kotonoha no Niwa, can't go wrong with Paprika either.
The romance genre is garbage, most of them are shit and should be avoided like the plague. You'll get some good ones rarely. Like 'kare kano (His and Her Circumstances)'.
Mushishi is probably the comfiest anime i know of.
Death Parade is one of Madhouses best works (imo). It's absolutely beautiful. The OP is one of my all time favourites.
Terror in Resonance is a masterpiece too.

I think these are some good starting anime to get you in the mood. But in the end, it comes down to personal taste and what you like.

Made in Abyss for the feels, its one of the best written recent fantasy animes in my opinion. I was hooked after the first 3 episodes.

One Punch Man/Mob Psycho 100 are two great comedy based action animes that have kind of a similar feel to JoJo. I actually like Mob better, personally.
