It's comfy night time

I have been watching Naruto recently and been thinking it would be nice to be a ninja. Your purpose is decided at birth, no need for introspection. You are from the same town as most of your friends, no need to make new ones. You can focus most of your daily time on training or socializing, no internet to turn you into a psuedo-autist. Life is interesting and challenging, rather than an empty grind.

I just think traveling through space heading toward the unknown in a cozy personalized ship sounds comfy as fuck

Naruto has always been my pick if I had to pick a fictional universe to insert into. It seems nice. You get to just be a kid for a while and then you get to develop and master literal super powers while living a fun and active lifestyle. Then once you're ready you get to go out and kick some ass.

space is mostly known unless you're talking unfathomable distances which idk how that would be possible to be comfy with without cryosleep or something

Even of you are a shitty ninja, you just get work that is at your level. As genin they guard travelers from bandits, as well as just community service work. And you are on a team lead by a higher level ninja. Just look at Sakura.

Fantasy worlds in games are attractive for escapism because you dont have to eat,sleep, feel pain or work a shitty meaningless job.

If it was like real life, it would suck just as much regardless of the world you choose.

You dont get to be a kid. Youre literally a expected to devote youre life to training and war fare. If you get lazy that means you and youre team mates could die. You are recruited as a ninja, its not decided at birth. Youre always training and studying because your village is at constant threat of being compromised by enemies. And have you seen what happens to genin in the series?
They get fucked up the hardest because thet are all lowl level shitters.

I`d love to live in world where magic is real, i want to be chosen, and then being the greatest wizard that nobody can stop, i want to dissapear. Live in a small hut in a hunted forest on a tall mountain so nobody can interrupt me and watch other people who have found their happiness in their life so i can feel happy too.
