When did cirno go to finland?
She was the ambassador of Gensokyo to Finland first from 1960-5 and then from 1976 until Kekkonen's death. They were very good friends, and Cirno even took part in his funeral.
He was actually pretty nice guy
Our national hero's sword.

Ludwig II was the last king of Bavaria, patron of Wagner, and the designer and financed of many of our greatest castles, and probably the last king to witness magic first-hand or something since he seemed to have a thing for emulating fairytales.
Tyrone Smith, the chunkiest negro.
stole from the spanish, no shits given
nice
Didn't he design the Disney castle?
My country doesn't have any heroes.
What about Ronaldinho
I don't think he really counts as a hero though.
Fucking shut down the kike banks
Pedro I of Brazil. Gave us independence from Portugal

Interesting choice. But the M1 Garand semiautomatic rifle had more of a historical impact.
V. V. Putin
Hillary lost
I was more posting it since I didn't have a picture of the General himself, but Garand, or Colt, or Browning, or any several of gun developers could also fit the bill. America is choke full of national heroes even discounting all the forced ones.
That's a very good question. I can't really think of many non-controversial figures on the top of my head that are really part of the Bulgarian national mythology.
Jack Churchill comes from Hong Kong!
Why not Winston?
José Antonio would be better.

Man who bought capitalism to India
Of course one of our most popular historical figures is a fuckin' criminal.

But he was good to the Jews, see.
Prince Grigory Aleksandrovich Potemkin-Tavricheski, best known for being the namesake of the Battleship Potemkin. He once convinced Crimea to join the Russian Empire without lifting a saber.
Pedro II was a good king too.
Harald Hardrada
Haakon VII
I'm pretty sure you can get arrested for this meme
Patton- the only based US general.

Neil Armstrong. He sort of landed on the moon.
Buzz Aldrin's a cool dude

>tfw no hero because in the end they all died/became even worse than the ones they've fought
Surely you have at least one king you look fondly on?
How can you buy capitalism to a country? Actually explains a lot about your country and why it got fucked over. I'm guessing it was a god level salesman from Britain who sold it to you. Selling the free idea of capitalism for a profit to India is impressive
And Irish
I mean from a persecuted immigrant family. Why does everyone think this guy is so Aussie? If you love Ned you should love persecuted immigrants who commit crimes in response to their plight. The Abos grew here you flew here mate
Except he was an asshole who would clone himself just so he could suck his own dick. Slapping a soldier with shell shock. Not understanding that needlessly sacrificing the lives of the troops under you to further your own ego is a bad thing. Good General but a failure as a human being. (a lot of your heroes seem to be narcissistic assholes. I wonder why?)
Tell me the story about Ned.
Still can't come up with anybody interesting.
IIRC, Disneyland's castle is based off of that one castle in Bavaria that begins with an "N".
i came here to see Germany posting Hitler

You were not disappoint.
Francis Pegahmagabow. Killed over 300 krauts in a year.
Sargent R. Lee Ermey. I'm surprised nobody posted him considering he just died.

I remember that time he drove a Renault FT, which was likewise Patton's first tank. I'm going to miss him.

The digits. Who got ?
Didn't see a picture of George Washington, which is a little puzzling. The man was absolutely incredible.
According to my Finn friend, that guy and Mannerheim are the most important and famous Finns. Wish there were some more biographies of them in English, though. There are only two or three on Mannerheim and they're pretty short :(
I came to this thread for this as well.
Where does the US keep a working Renault FT? Aren't those vehicles a century old now?
...
You an find all sorts of weird shit in the Aberdeen Proving Grounds.
RIP. Seemed like a cool dude.
It's honestly disgusting that you people disgrace heroes by photoshopping a fucking chinese ice fairy in to their pictures and acting like she's more important than the actual person. Get help.
Like all those leaders out there this guy also doesnt delivers what he promised, but better him than the pansies
