Ending mission with helicopter in GTA VICE city
Katawa Shoujo and Clannad back in the day. Haven't finished any quite like those since.
I like you, frien
nier and witcher 3
thanks user you're cool too
danganronpa series
Final Fantasy Tactics. The entire series is often over looked, but I like Tactical RPGs. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance specifically wowed the shit out of me with the general message being about Mewt's lust for escapism because the real world sucks. I grinded hard in that game, just for it to tell me that I wasted a lot of my time playing it. It punched me right in the fucking face. I still play it to this day. Perfect game.
fallout 3

Sleeping dogs
In a non originally original way
Silent Hill 2. Unironically felt the same way as the picture. No words, no emotions. Just thoughts and reflections. Wonderful experience.
Twilight Princess when I was a teen.
yep, this one did it for me. the whole story was perfect, the atmosphere was perfect.
>iktfb.blox4tehrobtu
I almost want to replay KS
Snake eater for sure
I was so proud when I beat uncharted 3 because that was the first game i completed on my own. It felt special, i remember doing multiplayer for hours on end. 2011, wow. I was playing mp during new years, had to ditch a match to go outside and chant with the neighbors as fireworks glittered the night. Man, life goes by.
cave story is the only game that made me feel like that
I was just about to post this. I went in expecting some shitty GTA clone and walked out finishing a story that imo is better than any gta plot. I later read the team did interviews with retired hong kong cops IRL, that plus the undercover cop thing who doesn't know where his loyalties lie probably made it so effective.
Witcher 3. Normie I know but that game blew me away.
Mass effect 2. Best. Fucking. Game. Ever.
Mass effect 3 didnt really get my attention, because of the gameplay changes and how the story started, but the ending....oh man the ending was epic.
undertale
life is strange
any of the final fantasies 7-10 (8 to a lesser extent)
>katamari damaci

This. What a great game
Oneshot
The soundtrack that plays at the end, combined with the normandy escaping the explosion. Good shit!
MGSV
I know the story was kinda fucked overall but shit like this really got me, and the gameplay was 10/10

Deus ex
Gta San Andreas
If kojima actually finished his game and gave keef more lines V would have been perfect. youtu.be
My nigga
Came to post this
I did absolutely everything in Oblivion and it's DLC on one character in one go a couple months back. Final thing I did was complete the shivering isles main quest, then sat on the throne and quit the game.
Dark souls 1
Orrrrrexh red vn
the first two fallout games
Call of duty infinite warfare. That game was just so damn amazing.
did you ever get the mw2 ending? That shit was cool
The last cases in each Ace Attorney game, specifically case 2-4
>>Red Dead Redemption
>metal gear solid 1
I want to feel this way about Hollow Knight but it won't fucking end.
You beat it once and then you still have to get the other endings and beat the real final boss and beat the other end-game super bosses and beat the DLC and then beat the other new DLC that's nothing but super bosses and ahhhhhh.
Demon's Souls
Unteralterbach
The Last of Us is the only game to have ever done this to me. With every other game I just had a good time and then either moved on to something else or replayed it later, but it never went beyond that one-dimensional level of enjoyment. With TLoU I got this abstract feeling of loss and grief that hit me like a brick. I still get it and I've played the game probably twenty-five times by now and have it all memorized.
>Life is Strange
>Portal 2
>Terraria (barey, i felt objectiveless beside the amount of shit that was still possible to be done)
Witcher 3
what a comfy game that is
I'm gonna have to agree as well, that might be the last time I got the OP pic reaction to a game. I think it helps that I was pretty ill at the time and bedbound, so I was just playing it all day and I did everything there was to do and got completely invested.
>Fallout 4
>Life is Strange series (can't wait to play Life is Strange 2)
>Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
>Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4
I guess that's about it.
See you around Officer

For me.
Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time.

Actually, Bayonetta.
Originally bought it to play "One handed" but it turned out to be one of the most stylish engrossing and fun games I've ever played. I never even managed to jack off to it because it pulled me in so well.
By the time I got to climbing the tower on Isla del Sol on the penultimate level I felt a profound sadness because I knew the game was coming to an end
After spending something like 250 hours in Witcher III, it was a bittersweet farewell in the very finale scene where Geralt monologues about the journey.
I'm tired of seeing constant threads about it on /v/.
beyond: two souls
Kingdom hearts 1, 2, and birth by sleep got me good man.

I dont play many video games, and I finish even fewer.
The ending of Bastion, however, broke me.
Fable: TLC
Halo 2
New Vegas
GTA: SA
Morrowind
Oh man, I almost fucking cried at Portal 2s end. Played the shit out of it, almost got like fucking furious at it near the end because my controller was dying a lot faster than I could get it charged.
But when you fire that portal at the moon...oh man. What a fucking treat.

If they'd just finished Mission 51 it would've been great. Maybe it's a little silly but at least it would've ended on a satisfying note and set up Twin Snakes. I guess they want to milk it for a bit longer before they connect it directly into the original series though.
Snake Eater was so fucking good. I can't get over how much more soul it has than any other game I've played in the last ten years
octopath traveler
Played FFX for the first time this summer. Also MGS3 did it to me last month but that was my second playthough of the game.
lisa the painful
the walking dead
None, my favorite games aren't linear shit meant to be finished
Games that had OPs pic effect on me:
Hotline Miami 2
This War of Mine (Never finished, but regardless)
Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs (Not as much as previous two, but still enough)
Half Life 1 (2's ending was shit)
Knights of the Old Republic 2 (Never finished, fantastic feels though)
A few others too, although those based on nostalgia. Still good feels.
Hyper Light Drifter. Undertale, a little bit.
Iji and Cave Story, way back in the day.
FFX still has incredible impact on me to this day
Persona 5
Nier Automata
Bloodborne
Haven't played many games this year. I need good characters to get invested into a game. Will prob check out Yakuza 0 soon.
Prince of persia 2008 and two thrones
Baldur's Gate II
new nier or original?
the original is better
hotline miami 2
great sequal and great ending to the story
it just really makes you reconsider things, when you've restarted over and over for the last 10 hours, just to try to avoid death, but in the end you still die
it's the perfect blend of gameplay and story
