What do you think your parents were like as teenagers / young adults? Would you have been friends with them?
My mom would have been one of those stacies who pretended to like everyone but secretly hated them. My dad would have been a bully, all-around egomaniac, liked working on cars and spent all night partying.

Dad was probably the smart kid that had a few friends, although it's hard to tell because I haven't seen him since I was like 10.

Probably friends with my Mom but by all accounts my Dad was great to get along with too and pretty down to earth.

All I know is that my father apparently worked hard in his youth and went to a good school, fucked some hookers here and there and settled for my mom in his twenties.
And my mom had a relationship with a man before settling for my dad and like to party and stuff.

my dad may have been a huge asshole to me and would hit me when I was a kid but at least he had a well paying job and kept a roof over my head. He was a really hard worker just not the best dad.

My parents were both top athletes in high school. Dad worked as a bouncer after high school. Mom kept up with sports and modern dancing. Our worlds would have never intersected. Don't know how they ended up with a fucking dork like me as offspring. Sister was pretty similar to my mom throughout high school too.
