Me too opie i understand
You are the lucky one, I got scoliosis. You can at least slap some cream on that, you cant slap some cream on a spine.
>You can at least slap some cream on that
and you can just do some stretches XD
every dermatologist i've visited was an incompetent retard
last summer the skin on my neck got seriously inflamed, and she prescribed me a dosage of antihistamines that if i were to have taken i'd probably have died, props to the lady at the poisons center for telling me not to take what i had been prescribed
i've switched around 10 doctors and none were able to find a stable solution for me
Ok if it's that bad then sorry for being an ass.
you weren't an ass don't worry
i'm just pissed at dermatologists
not a medical professional here, but what I have found to really help my eczema is humid/tropical climates and very diligent & thorough skin care routine
I don't know what skin condition this is but
>take a shower
>doesn't matter if hot or cold or in-between
>always come out extremely itchy
>will last anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour
>sometimes its not too bad and other times it makes me want to scratch off my skin
>lotion and ointments do jack shit
it's probably eczema, but you should probably visit a doctor
btw if it's on your face it should be relatively easy to stop most water from coming to contact with it
also i found dabbing the inflamed area with wet cotton really helps to numb the itch, so try that as well
Plaque psoriasis
At least it's only on my scalp for the time being.
>mfw picking thick chunks of dead skin off my scalp and from my hair
>tfw Vascular Ehlers Danlos Syndrome
hey I'm literally going to die horribly from my disease but at least I have velvety translucent skin that makes me look 15 years younger, gotta look on the bright side of life
Hey OP I have that shit too, you should check out products like this: psico.com
You basically want as simple a cleanser as you can get. I use the vaniply/vanicream/whatever cleanser and shampoo. This helped a lot with my skin the last 3 years.
Also Amazon stocks most of this stuff now, which is nice with Prime shipping.
my dad's got that, the skin of his elbows always looks messed up
honestly i'm just glad it's subsided somewhat with the years, i used to get horrible plaques all over the fave, now it just looks red in a few spots
well fuck
i guess i should be thankful my face is just kinda red
>Have perfect skin all my life
>Develop psoriasis at age twenty four
It's not fair. I used to get complimented on my skin. Within a few years of this progressing I'll look like a fucking burn victim.
i have eczema on my head and am balding cuz of that so i bought curd soap it consists of 100% olive oil, i used it around 2 weeks and my skin looks better and my hair dandruff is not there anymore
>26
>acne is getting worse
>tfw no cute shaggy curly haired bf with eczema or permanently red cheeks
I spent a little over a decade fighting acne. Late 20s now, it subsided a year or two ago but the post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation left behind is very noticeable.
I've done some microderming to reduce the appearance of scars and the pigmentation but three treatments was $1700. It helped but goddamn I'm not made of money.
have u tried fluoroninocide or whatever the fuck it's called? it cured my eczema on my fingers
I used to have bad eczema during my teens, I would take scalding hot showers that felt orgasmic better than sex until I realized the damaged I was probably doing to my skin. I ended up forcing myself to never itch and slowly it went away.
literally me except probably not cute
i've got you beat.
>tfw scoliosis, eczema, AND schizophrenia
small world
here, and I have kyphoscoliosis and pectus carinatum as well, it's amazing
Eczema sucks by dude I got it on my forearms it sucks
Not the same guy, but sometimes you're just fucked. After a year of physical therapy I went from a 50 degree curve to almost 70 degree curve. Ended up needing surgery to stop it from getting any worse.
It COULD be worse though I guess. I ended up only having permanent back pain and tension. I could've ended up actually getting physically disabled, but luckily it's all upper spine, so its only pain.
I noticed that happening to me when i use certain body wash products, you might be allergic to some chemicals without knowing user.
I've changed my body wash at least 20 times now
