Why would it be Pasta? Haven't you ever been influenced by stories and characters? I grew up on Greek Mythology and Arthurian Tales. Then I found comics, then vidya, and all of them alongside my natural inclinations and way of upbringing gave me... well, rather "different" take on life. Of course real-life people have also left a mark upon me, but it's quite easy to identify and project yourself on fictional characters. But I still like treating life as some grand adventure. I await for better things to come, whatever the cost.

I’m also studying a science, and desu it is realistically not likely to meet women within your area of study, and even if you do she will be so swamped with male attention that it will be unlikely that she will be interested. Since it’s the start of the semester, go to some events where a lot of freshers will be at, lots of single girls there. Join a club if you wanted to do that, there will also be girls joining right about now, and they’re looking to meet people. In general, try to spread your social circle wider and your chances of meeting women will also improve. And as I said, probably the best way to improve is to hang out with guys that are successful with women and see what works from watching them. If you’re a decent looking guy and dress well it shouldn’t be too hard overall, just focus on meeting women in the first place and don’t get too focussed on any one woman.
About the saviour complex, if you’re seeing it that way maybe try to find a way to turn it to your advantage. Do some charity work that you believe in, also a good way to meet chicks or simply something great to talk about. Get involved in extracurricular activities and projects related to space travel if that’s what you find interesting. It will be good for you, and being a bit of an interesting character is also great to get women, so long as you look decent, have confidence and some understanding of women

Too late for all of that. 3rd Year, and due to some unfortunate circumstances I haven't set foot there since the first two months of my firsty year. Either way, I'm not in any hurry for relationships. I'll be out in about two years and start anew abroad. And due to my ultimate goal, FWBs are the best thing I can hope for. Serious relationships are something that I've put on the backburner; after 30. I think that bythen I'll be a complete man, and not risk the chance of masquareding my true intentions.

South Europe, user. Back at school,in Senior High,during the last two years, you have to choose a "direction". We don't really do parties here. Or at least I don'tknow about them. I didn't make any friends those two months, so I'm without any info bar the Uni's site's anouncements. And I find it weird to show up alone. I'm thinking of just going to classes again,and see if I meet anyone there. But really, it doesn't concern me much.
