Well first of all you can probably watch one on youtube. It's not that bad really, slight discomfort at worse and they give you something for it. I believe they are all surgeries by definition but I've only ever had suction/vacuum type. It takes like 20 minutes but they usually make you wait like an hour in a recovery room afterwords .
