I was in your friends position it's too heavy to put on people desu. Like what if you call us in a suicidal midsts and we fuck it up? Or we say something and you blame us for causing your suicide? its not fair but the average person is in no way equipped to deal with this.

wish I knew user I have been getting help from various psychiatrists and therapists for 20 years now. I guess the plus side is I haven't killed my self so maybe it was working a little bit. Honestly it seems like all that it did for me was make feel numb all the time. As for Psychotherapy it seems to mostly be centered around people who are more extroverted so you may get nothing from that.

anyway since its been 2 goddamn decades of numbness and misery I finally scheduled my suicide date. It won't be much longer and frankly I think my family has given up on me so it will be better for them in the long run.

Don't get angry at your friend, there really is little someone in his position can do. Really, is right. You are the only one that can help you. I know because I've been in a similar situation. Every situation is different, there is no single answer for depression.

Suicide is for the weak. However, asking for help is what strong people do. user, you're on antidepressants, right? Do you have a therapist? What are your problems? Whatever the awnser to those questions are, keep yourself busy and active. Go to the gym, find a new hobby, go on dating sites, just try to find new ways to enjoy life.
