Honestly, from what I've seen, there's not much difference between millennials and generation z. They talk about the same topics, mostly, and are almost the same, difference being some interests, and remembering older cartoons, or whatever.

I'm in the same boat but I identify much more with millennials than zoomers. I don't really get shit like trap music, rappers whose names start with lil', fortnite, fidget spinners, emoji's, and whatever other shit zoomers are doing but I do have that millennial nostalgia for things like N64, pogs, and design like pic related, probably from 90's bleedover into the early 2000's. I generally feel more comfortable talking to millennials too, it seems to me that zoomers have a certain way of typing and a certain approach to conversation that i can spot a mile away if i see it in a youtube comment or something like that. I think that I probably fit more into the zoomer generation in terms of age but culturally i'm much more millennial than zoomer

I think "zoomer" is a state of mind rather than being based entirely upon age. I'm 19 and I feel so disconnected from everyone else my age, its so hard to relate that I have only one friend I can actually count on and I'm thoroughly uninterested in getting into a relationship. This "hookup culture" we've gotten into makes it impossible to form any kind of meaningful relationship. I grew up with a single mother of three and to be honest I think that was my biggest disadvantage as a child, sometimes I had to go days without eating and I still do to this day because I have nothing to put on my resume so I can get a job.

It's all so tiresome.
