Another pair of headphones have a shortage in them

>another pair of headphones have a shortage in them

Are these fucking things built to fail? No other wired devices have caused me this much grief.

bought a pair of audio technica headphones almost 3 years ago now and they're still going strong with pretty much constant use

>Buy Sony
>Sound decent
>Last for 10 years first set
>7 years another set
>6 years another set
All of them still work great today too I just don't use the old ones because their job has been replaced
Feels gud mango

what are you using? ive had my pair for almost a decade, how are you powering them?

I use sony earbuds and get earphones that connect via an aux cable. That way I can just buy a new chord if the wires bend too much.

This. Invest about 150$ for the M50X, they are rock solid and you can replace the cable.
There are a lot of better headphones if you're interested in sound quality, but since you're the kind of guy who breaks his headphones I wouldn't recommend you anything else. Also, since you're used to those cheap ass sennheiser you'd probably think they sound good anyways.

>Don't buy shitty cheap headphones
>Don't buy overpriced snake oil headphones

Those headphones are fine so long as you have lots of tape

As someone who used to stress the cable and destroy a lot of headphones, buy ones with detachable cables. There's infinitely less stress on the connection point and so the cables tend to last way longer, and if they DO fail you can buy another cable for $10-15 instead of buying another pair of headphones.

still usin my sennheiser hd202 since they were released
work fine

op what are you doing that is fucking up your headies so quickly?

m50x are pure shit for their price.

DT990 pros cost the same and is worlds ahead in every single aspect.

>op what are you doing that is fucking up your headies so quickly?
lose csgo matches

Beyer's DT series requires a proper amp to drive them, I bought a pair and they sounded awful.

>Old Panasonic headphones lasted me 8 years before finally dying thanks to me being an idiot
>All 3 headphones I bought this year broke with just regular use
The Jews are relentless.

Sennheiser HD 471
I bought them because you can disconnect the cable. If you step on it, it just disconnects

you should have a dac+amp to begin with.

youre listening to dogshit right now.

Beyerdynamics has an exposed cable near the arc and they are not nearly as flexible. M50x are shit are a bad value for the money if you think about the sound quality, but the construction quality is top notch. They are quite flexible but solid and you can fold them and twist the cups.

Also this Without an amp or a dedicated sound card you have to buy the 32 ohm version. And they are open back that is usually not what you look for when you choose headphones instead of speakers. Not what he want if he used to buy 30$ headphones and he break them all the time.

I've smashed my HD 599s on the floor every day for the past 2 years and they're still going strong

>yes goyim you need a special box for those headphones, you're not a schnook are you?

I use $3 no-brand earbuds made in China and replace them like every 4 months. How fucking pleb am I?

so pleb..
i just dont even..

My DT 770 Pro 250 ohm still works.

>buy cheaply
>repair cheaply
Put some tape on it OP

>Are these fucking things built to fail?
