Most people on pc started on console as a kid and just switched with age cause it's better in pretty much every way. I have a PC, PS4, 3DS and Switch and my order of use is probably PC > 3ds > Switch > PS4. The PC and PS4 are hooked up to the same monitor so it's mostly the same experience as far as my comfort goes, the handhelds I can play on my comfy bed, I also never use the Switch docked.

True, but only because PC gaming exclusives have been falling short in recent years. Ten years ago, we had HL2, TF2, Quake, WoW, etc. and all of those were exclusive to PC for the most part. Now most PC games are simply enhanced console ports. The real draw to having a PC: customizability and open software, which you can't have on a console. Hence the absurd amount of emulators and mods with barely any graphics-intensive gaming involved. Luckily for PC gamers, low-end machines are getting more powerful, meaning the rig is now much less important.
