I live in USA. I'm in a city so I take public transit everywhere and yes transit sucks but I don't mind most of the time. As for things being too far to walk, that's all about attitude desu. I regularly walk a few miles to the store and a few miles back. Maybe that's crazy but I enjoy those walks, my mind feels free and clear and it's also decent exercise.
Yeah jobs have always been awkward, because before I even apply I have to check if I can even get there. School also kind of sucks, I have to leave 2 hours early to get to class, which means I have to be up and awake and out the door even earlier. Also the transit sucks so many days there are delays etc and that makes me late and made me miss a test before. I will admit that there's serious drawbacks.

Dating probably wasn't an option for me anyways.
