Does anybody have any very early memories from when they were really young (<5 years old) that you cannot explain in...
My earliest memory is being in our front yard looking at a butterfly cocoon on a tree. That's it
I have a memory of being in the car coming back from our nearby outdoor mall, and I remember the mall trip as well. In the car, "Gotta Be", by Des'ree was playing, it was just my mom and I. At the mall I remember seeing an advertisement for Spyro. The weird thing was that I remember being in a stroller in the mall, and in a carseat in the car, like laying down. So I must've been VERY young, like 1 or 2 or so. My mom doesn't remember it, but that's probably because we went to that mall all the time. My next conscious memory was seeing my 3rd birthday cake in the fridge, and I remember that really clearly. One of the happiest moments of my life.
>3 years old, sitting in car, very dark, mom driving, dad in passenger seat turn around says something to me, mom replies to him, dunno what they said to me
I think that's my earliest memory
It sounds like you remember being sexually assaulted by Diane Feinstein to me...
You should tell someone.
remember my ceiling fan falling down but then suddenly being fixed. when i asked my parents about it they said it was never broken in the first place
Yes. I had a memory of being at a baby sitters house and in their basement with other kids in sleeping bags but also getting floaties to swim in their pool. I also have one of being at a wedding where there were colorful lights up on the walls where the guests had to throw bean bags or something at them and they would change color. That one may just have been a dream though. I also have one that was shortly after my cousin was born and was in an incubator and mm telling me "that's your cousin" which is funnily enough the only memory I can pinpoint as being from the 20th century as it was in 1999.
I was born in '89, so I have several memories from the mid to late 90s.
Had that memory when I was only 4.
Yeah when you are near death the life flashing before your eyes is real. You don't consciously remember everything to the point that you can verbally recall, but as life goes on you re-acquaint with people that had an impression on your life as an infant and piece together everything else. Apparently I traveled alot as an infant, wandered a farm of some kind, might have choked someone out in a moonshine lab...
>4ish
>ate chinese food
>drank chocolate milk
>threw up
earliest memories were
>playing with 3 pokemon themed toys in a kiddy pool at my grandparent's house
>sitting at some babysitter's house waiting for my mom to pick me up
>lifting my feet when my grandpa drove over a puddle so they wouldnt get wet, like he warned they would
Also definitely remember being baby-sat and watching Snow White. Getting kicked out on the street with my mom and brother, somewhere in Reno.
I remember I was playing with toys, then I fell asleep and was in a dark tunnel that lead downward to a bunch of lave. I was throwing Lincoln logs (what I had been playing with IIRC) into the lava. Then my mom showed up and we left and then I was in 3rd person and the view did the leaving a tunnel in ocarina of time white flash thing.
Was weird
>as an infant, wandered a farm of some kind, might have choked someone out in a moonshine lab...
Made me chuckle. Good one.
Yeah that's most of my early memories too. Lots of different baby sitters. I also remember getting thrown out with my mom too. Except we were just with one of her friends and she apparently told her how to parent her kid and got offended so threw us out. My mom was such a dumb thot. I love her though.
No, but I remember having a dream and I specifically remember that I was 4 for whatever reason. I was walking in the first person, but everything was just bright colors. I couldn't comprehend anything, nothing had a shape but I know for some reason that I was in my backyard.
Born in 1983. I remember the "tear down this wall" speech being played on the radio. I remember my dad teaching me to count past 12 on the way to preschool. I remember the second house I lived in, climbing up the stairs to get in bed with my parents and the feel if the red blanket on the bed, when I was 3. Also legend of zelda for the first time in my neighbor's basement the day it came out. I remember my 4th birthday party had a voltron cake.
Do you remember films from that time? I was watching Edward Scissorhands.
Watching whinnie the pooh around that time and a sesame Street movie where elmo goes to Oscar the grouchs trash land. And some horror movies that took place in a haunted house. And mighty Joe young.
I was 3 years old. In a tented area in the desert place with many other tents. And other people camping maybe? I don't remember it all to well
We got up early in the morning to eat food and I could remember the breeze and sand
Waking up in my spooky concrete basement from sleep walking (probably 4-5 years old) and seeing this toy chest we had that was shaped like a large pig with an overly cartoonized face. I did not like that pig
I can remember both of those films. I'm 25.
I actually was molested as a kid by an older kid eho was my neighbor. Still don't understand how my ass is still fine but whatever.
Nobody fucking noticed, I kind of remember what happened but not even as a bad thing.
If I see that guy again I might kill him though, just because he is a faggot
That's fucking horrifying
Bejejeke
I remeber this cholo mexican dude, that my mom was dating, named Rudy beat the shit out of her right in front of me and my 3 year old sister.
That's what she gets. Hopefully she learned a lesson. Either that or you have some brown younger siblings.
My earliest memory is when I was 3 and sitting in the doorway of the front room of my house on a sunny day, then I got up and ran into the living room. For some reason it's really surreal to me not being able to recall anything before that point. Obviously babies aren't good at remembering anything early on but it feels like it's the moment I gained sentience.
Winnie the Pooh and that particular Elmo scene
I ran into a wall and busted my lip open at my first birthday party. I remember the corner where it happened. I can't think of anything earlier than that with any certainty. I remember where my crib was located in my room.
yeah I have a memory of the first time I went to a shopping mall and being taken aback at how big it was. it felt like I was making this huge journey in an underground tunnel system and the ceiling seemed impossibly high up.
another early memory was going on a family trip to a house in the woods and seeing a wild rabbit. I ran towards it and it ran away. it seemed to disappear right before my eyes.
another memory of going on a trip of a lake and in the hotel I was with an older female relative and I had to piss bad and she had just gotten out of the shower and I saw her clean, bare baked tits. she gasped and I held her in my sight for seemingly minutes before just closing the door and leaving. it's amazing that I had so much power over her as a very young boy seemingly. I watched the simpsons and pretending nothing happened and so did she. later on in the hotel there was an arcade and I was playing this racing game and there was a ring girl before the race and it was a fairly detailed graphic of a girl in a skimpy bikini and I remember that I couldn't stop looking at her but didn't understand why. I really like to think of the idea of being aroused as a boy, not knowing why it felt good. it's near impossible to re-create.
another memory is playing with this shitty sesame street v-tech computer. weird how even as a small child I was playing with computers.
also anyone into boards of canada. they're like this feeling personified into a band.
also anyone into boards of canada. they're like this feeling personified into a band
This X1000. It's intentional too.
Mine is finding a frog in my garden. That's it.
No I dont have any brown younger siblings but Ill never forget what that guy did to my mom. I can still remeber my sister and I cowering in the doorway to the living room as we watched Rudy beat down my mom to the floor with complete savagery.
>Oldest memory
Believe it or not it was my 1st birthday. I was sitting at the table with a black forest cake in front of me and I recall seeing my mom pulling away a broken chair right next to me. Not sure why I remember that but every year I always get that same cake for my birthday.
my first or one of my first memories is of my grandpa cleaning the shit out of my bedroom carpet with a vapor steam cleaner after i'd managed to get my diaper off. i started crying all of the sudden and ran into my mom's arms. that was the first time ever that i felt guilt.
I definitely remember walking on the street with my pregnant mom so I was 3 and a half.
There's one other memory but I'm not sure if it was before or after that. I woke up in my baby cot and the room was dark and I felt and intense feeling of loneliness and sadness, like I was the only person in the world. It was fuckin heavy, I still remember the feeling. I started crying and my mom came in the room.
I remember finding my dad's underwear in the drawer and trying it on when I was around 3. My mom caught me doing that and I recall being really embarrassed even though she reacted nicely.
My oldest memory was when I was 3 and living in an apartment. I would routinely crawl to the porch, take tomatoes and try to drop them on walking pedestrians. Even tried with coca cola once
Sadly I never anyone.
Yeah, two .
The first one is walking around an apartment we used to have and remembering in detail the layout and furniture, and even how the sun was coming in through the blinds in my parent's room into their bed.
The second was of me drinking formula from the bottle, falling asleep at my old grandma's house, while watching the clowns in the wallpaper in that room as the sun was slowly setting in the window.
These memories are from 1994... which is crazy, as I was born in 1993.
