30+ Thread - Too young to be old, too old to be young
Is there a low-key eugenics program going on or something? I'm wondering this cos I'm almost certain people in London now are more beautiful/handsome than they were 15-20 years ago. I heard this theory from a crazy man that London somewhere down the line London's gonna be a high-tech walled city of rich, beautiful people with us poor plebs requiring visas to go in and out of the city for the menial jobs. Like some sci-fi utopian city surrounded by a slums.
What do you mean"somewhere down the line?" It's happening now innit? I fucking hate London anyway. Burn it to the ground (again.)

Well, I'm still living here. For the moment. I'm waiting for when my brutalist design high-rise flat's service charge increases to a point when I (my parents) no longer afford it.

>I fucking hate London anyway. Burn it to the ground (again.) Do you live here?

>cos I'm almost certain people in London now are more beautiful/handsome than they were 15-20 years ago nah dude. it's a combination of skincare being very popular now in comparison to the past, makeup being more advanced than it used to be, and fashion trends just evolving with time (hair/clothing/accessories)
Dylan Sanders
ugh. beautiful people.

Only 21 but people say I look and act like I am over 30. Why do I look so old?
Brandon Fisher
Oh, and I live in London. Everyone here looks depressed from what I can tell? Not sure.

Maybe.
Liam Nelson
>like israel you mean Israel is complex issue and steeped in thousands of years of history.
I feel like London is where they're just (silently) booting out poor ugly people.

Getting older I realized that emotional pain doesn't outweigh physical pain. Pain just adds up.

is it even possible to make friends after 30?
Jordan Roberts
no. no one in America has time to do anything anymore.
Luke Lopez
congratulations, you zoomed your way right into your 30s!

32 here, where are my wizard bros at?
Angel Perry
From our starting base? Not really. Even discounting that, at 30 people are starting to settle down with kids and if anything their social circle starts to shrink.

Let's take the statistical view:
say a := age, and since we are in a 30+ thread, then P(make a friend | a>30) = P(a>30|make a friend)*P(make a friend)/P(a>30) = P(a>30|make a friend)*P(make a friend)
Statistically we make most friends (say 90%) prior to age 30, so we estimate P(make a friend| a>30) = 0.1 * P(make a friend)
so it's unlikely, even if you are well adjusted.

Nothing, you're born 89 meaning you're not an elder zoomer.

You know, I'm starting to have difficulty discerning between hipsters and regular working-class people. I swear, speaking as a person who has the same amount of style as a brick wall, style has become so homogenised.
Before I could tell who was from "the ends" and who was some hipster slumming it. Now everybody has this distinct "indistinct" look.

>be 28 >"lol just start lifting loser you'll be crushing girls" >lift for three years >literally the horniest I have ever been in my adult life, random boners until afternoon >still can't talk to women >about to explode wat do guise? Is this a stage?
I guess like most other pieces of advice it's supposed to lead you into correcting other parts of your life but like the autist you (or I) are, you concentrate on that singular part of the of advice without considering the wider implications of it.
