In rural Georgia there's miles and miles of single lane interstate, always empty at night, not a single car and you could be driving for 30 minutes straight. There's also some pretty dreamy fog that comes in from the mountains.
Massachusetts theres Myles Standish State Forest.
Upper & Lower Collage pond roads run a loop & it's all scenic driving roads so on fall nights theres no other traffic. You just get to drive around in circles all night long
Also 495 & whatever other highway you go on to go from south MA to Providence, RI is really enjoyable with the street lights and under bridge curves at 3am with no other cars.
My only fast car is currently in pieces and my 2 that are running top out barley over 100mph, so don't get much enjoyment out of straight highway driving tho.
I go on night rides because you're not a real robot unless you get out on a motorcycles.
I been wanting one but lazy to go through the process of learning and getting a license for it
>fly over to the UK for some errand, land at stanstead airport around lunchtime
>grab rental car and drive up to the east midlands, never driven on the left side of the road before, scary as a motherfucker
>congestion beyond words, like 454136216351 cars stacked on eachother, never seen the likes
>drive back home to the airport around 3-4 AM
It was so weird driving back down that previously so jam packed motorway now being completely desolate. I drove for over 2 hours without meeting a single car.
I second this user, also 90 through Boston to Logan and 290 through Worcester are both pretty cool at night if you like city lights
next time check out Cambridge, it's about a 40min drive away from Stansted
lots of cute shops and restaurants, and the colleges have lovely architecture
Go to ports, industrial parks, Hills/mountain roads, Downtown is comfy with no other cars
FUCK OFF SKINWALKER FAGS REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Thx for the tip user, I remember driving past it. I also saw signs leading to Oxford, really wanted to check it out as I'm a big fan of the Morse series but there was no time.
last time I went to logan with my ex we had an early AM flight and went early to beat all the traffic and the drive was pretty enjoyable aside from a few close calls with my friends TDI bottoming out and almost busting an oilpan.
The tunnels in Boston are always great to drive thru with all the windows down when you're the only one in them.
Fuck that I just want to die not be a cripple.
Robots don't care. Bikes because it's the closest you get to happy.

Wisconsin fag here. I love forrest drives with my truck, I've got flood lights and spotlights all over the thing. Great for snow
In the us how long does that take
>wake up around 5 pm
>enjoy remaining hour of sunlight through the basement window in what I call my office
>watch youtube documentaries and interviews, forget all about it after my first marijuana intake
>justify my procrastination by convincing myself nothing matters anymore
>had enough, prepare bag for a small journey to the unknown
>grabs keys and step outside to meet my shitty car
>it's almost midnight already, my body feels terrible for sleeping all day and sitting all nigh
>drive with no specific destination, maybe I'll go get some coffee at the all nigh gas station near the highway
>realize how much of a failure I've become
>light up a joint to numb my mind and in secret hopes to get arrested and have no choice but to face my responsibilities
>fantasize about picking up a hitchhiker and make a friend
>arrive at destination, don't even want coffee, but keep thinking I might meet someone unexpectedly
>qt at counter, avoid eye contact and order coffee in a robotic manner, trying to sound friendly and human
>get coffee, say thanks and return to car defeated, again
>drive aimlessly in the general direction of my basement
>NOT THIS TIME, NO, I'LL FIND SOMETHING INTERESTING TONIGHT, THIS TIME WILL BE DIFFERENT
>drive to park
>sit alone on the swing, it's cold, there is no one else
>drive back home, it's 4 am
>"maybe tomorrow, yes, tomorrow I'll change, it will change!"
>fall asleep 2 hours later after exhausting all my self hate and forced myself not to care
I might go for one tonight, maybe I'll go somewhere I never went and find something worth living for.
oh baby do you know what that's worth?

I've driven through pretty much all the states bordering Michigan/Illinois just driving late at night
I have my license but my cousin hit a moose earlier in the year and got hurt real bad so now I'm scared to go on the highway with a bike.

I used about like a year and a half ago. Had a house to myself for about 5 months and at least a few times a week, I'd drive around the same roads over and over again and just listen to chill music and talk to myself. My Mom is paranoid as fuck and after those 5 months, I had to share a house with her again and if I even tried leaving after it got dark, she blow my phone up asking where the fuck I was going, and I can't just say driving around because she would ask why the fuck I'm doing that. I'm up at uni now, but she has stupid app that tracks my phone location and she'll still call or text asking what I'm doing if I'm not at normal apartment. I don't know if I'd still be doing night drives here anyways given it's a uni town and the faggots here don't fucking sleep.
